I'm yet to have any company respond to my technical questions about their products in the time or manner Magpul has always done. To date I've gotten answers on the UBR, the BUIS, and the MOE from Justin and a lady who's name I've sadly forgotten, always within 2-3 days of my query. Running responses from Trijicon on similar questions: 0 and we're over 4 weeks now. You can tell who doesn't care about anything but...

to follow up to my post # 8 you can use this mount: KZ OFM Offset Flashlight Mount cheap, light and using 6061 aluminum it should be very tough. Inserts can be used to snug up flashlights that are slightly less than 1 inch. Hope this helps.

From firsthand experience, alumahyde is the last thing I'd use on a gun. I've used it on a mossberg 500, and if you look at it wrong, will chip and peel. It doesn't matter how well you prep it. Duracoat is a much better alternative to that stuff.

You'll probably get replies for both. I'm going to go ahead and say go with the standard buffer. I'm running the standard and haven't had a problem any problems. Carbine length ARs are a little bit "harsher" and some like to run the H buffer due to that reason, but I think you'll be fine with the standard.

I like Blackhawk Discreet Tactical cases for mine. Soft but rectangular with reinforced padding around the edges. No external pouches, which keeps the neighbors guessing. I do have a Pelican case for my camera equipment though, and those are sweet. If $$ wasn't a factor I'd probably have a bunch of them.

From what I've been told, if your going to shoot .22 rounds out of your AR make sure you clean it incredibly well afterwards. All that lead from the .22 will build up in the rifling.

Well that's not really enough information to base a decision on. Is this a range rifle? How many rounds have been through it? How is the barrel condition? Which model Bushy is it? Have their in-house smiths been tinkering with things? If yes have they tinkered with things that ought not be tinkered with? Don't mean to be less than helpful, but there's a lot of info that isn't being presented, so ...
