Oh, to answer one more question, prices are good on the website until 31 DEC 09. 16in model is $2700 and change. $250 more if you want the 18in or 20in model. 18s and 20s come with PRS or UBR stocks AND Geiselle triggers, so worth every penny. Roger that?

I bought one to try out, I loved it and now have one for three of my fighting rifles.
I haven't timed myself but malfunction drills are much faster.

If it is chambered for 5.56mm , you can shoot .223 or 5.56mm with no problems.
To convert from 5.56mm to 9mm, you would need a separate barrel, flash hider, bolt/carrier, magazines, magwell blocks, and possibly buffer. It's not exactly swappable. Most people would buy/build dedicated 9mm AR's.
Most people that own Rock River Arms AR's like them - I have a friend that owns one and hasn't ...

Looks like a good list.
Why did you get an ASAP plate and a regular receiver end plate? The ASAP plate replaces the plain end plate.
3 or 4 other things I would personally change(or at least look into).
-upper-buy a complete upper from BCM already assembled, unless of course you want to assemble your own upper, then by all means go with what you are thinking. You are already ...

I haven't done any research into the suitability of 1/12 twist, 1/7 is generally the best option to properly stabilize a heavier load bullet that you would associate with a combat ready patrol rifle, so I'd say you've got at least 1 half of that equation set. I would imagine, given what I know about 1/9 twist barrels, 1/12 would be well suited for lighter target rounds and varmint bullets.
