To all who replied to my post........thanks.....but I have returned my HP as I was dissappointed in the HP support situation, I dont suppose they are the only ones but it strikes me that once an item is sold, their job is done and aftercare can be difficult to find.   I will now do more reviews before deciding which to buy.

I read elsewhere that the latest update to HP Solution Center (ver. 13.0) may solve this problem.  I won't be able to test it on my machine for about a week, but has anyone tried it yet?  Is 13 the lucky number?

fyi dude your printer doesnt support a double sided copying feature only for printing two-sided its a big difference because printing is hooking it up with your pc while copying is just purely the standalone printer.only the higher end of printer or the top of the line printer does have that feature like the c309a or the officejet pro 8500 you might as well check those printer out.www.shopping.hp.com search it from that website.

Solved it. I got started in computers professionally in the early '70's and I'll tell you .... the only thing faster than the emergence of new technology was the emergence of buzz words to describe not only the new technology but the old technology as well.   EMBEDDED WEB SERVER!!!!!!   I had to dig through HP's support web site to find out I could do what I wanted using an "embedded web server".  I...

Sorry forgot to ask. Are you using Windows XP, Vista or 7?   Any of the above operating systems you would have 'My pictures' folder and 'My scans' would be under that.       Thanks Naveen K HP Support Engineering Center Click on yellow KUDOS button to say thanks     (Although employed by HP, I'm trying to address the issues with my sole willingness and my employer does not bear any liability for my responses)

I was unable to get HP Center to SCAN also running Windows XP Professional with my HP  C3135 All in One Scanner. I resolved the issue by running       C:\Program Files (x86)\HP\Digital Imaging\bin\hpqscnvw.exe    directly.  If you are having problems scanning I suggest that you look for a program called something  with     SCN    somewhere in the name of the executable and run it directly to see if that fixes the issue.

Adamsrw,   What OS are you using? What version of scanning software are you using?  Finally, have you tried to use the scanner & camera wizard to see if the same problem occurs.  This would help to determine if it is a hardware of a scanning software problem.

I am surprised that anyone still has a ScanJet 5370  That scanner was released in 2000 when Windows 95 and Windows 98 dominated the PC world.    This is going to be a bummer of an answer but an answer is better than no answer.  The driver software for the 5370 was not updated for Vista nor will it be updated for Win 7.  Unfortunately, time marches on and technology goes obsolete.  I ...

I'm having the same issues with Officejet 7410, on Windows 7, running from my PC. Even tried saving it directly to Desktop so I could easily find it. But it doesn't save the scan anywhere. There definitely is a bug in the driver download. Help!

Could you explain more about what you see when "it will not work"? Please describe what happens in detail.  You double click on Solution Center and...   Are there error messages?  .  See the post about If you want good answers, ask good questions.  The more you describe the more likely someone will be able to help you.
