I just sent 4 standard pages taped together on the edges through a 5510 and the upper margin was correct for the Avery business card.

OK, so using Gimp I reduced the large 2976x2976 (2.6MB in size) jpeg to a 1422x1422 (816KB) jpeg, and then from within the program Gimp I sent that from my openSUSE-11.2 Linux PC to the C309a over the wireless LAN to print on a CD.  It worked fine.   So it appears to me now, that possibly the file size (2.6MB and higher resolution ? ) of the larger image, possibly takes longer to go over the LAN, and either the C309a times-out, or possibly...

Unfortunately, no one has been able to diagnose my printer problem - documents I try to print get stuck in the queue and will not print. I am having the same problem with my Deskjet D1660, only a matter of a few months old. Have contacted HP and if I get any helpful advice back, I'll let you know.

If your problem is the cyan ink leaking out, it seems that there are three possibilities. 1) The cartridge itself was "leaky". If that is so then you could replace it with a new one, and HP should replace the old one under warranty.
