KG...I just googled it & hit store locater for your area...Bakersfield, Tulare, Clovis, Atwater, Turlock, Gilroy....there were more but I didn't write them down. They also may go by another name out in some of those areas...they bought out another small chain out there somewhere.

Hard freeze here the last couple nights.... ......went out night before last and stuck my nose in the last blooms of my Brugs...they are finished for the season. Next spring I'll have white, gold and pink to plant!!! ....can't wait to see all of them in bloom! The roses got bit and are starting to show it. I cut back my banana tree and covered it along with a pineapple plant I'm gonna try and over winter (wish me luck), I know...

I hope that white stuff isn't headed up our way...you know how I feel about it. Although I don't have to plow it this year, not sure if that is good or bad...I plow better than DH. That plant is going to make it.

I didn't know there was a book with her name in the title. I know I've posted my Gertrude Jeckyll rose bush now and again. Its an English David Austin and not only lovely and prolific, but the scent is fabulous.

We weren't rainy but we were cool & windy. I don't think it ever got over 60º toay from a low last night in the 30's! But it was pleasant enough to do all that shopping in.

now this is a GREAT drought tolerant shrub called Tagetes aka Mexican Marigold. The foliage is very pungent... enough so that if you simply water it, or brush against it, it will scent the air for 10 minutes or more. I LOOOOVE this plant. Mine is now about 5X7. Yeah, feet. Need to whack it back again.
