Um... I did on the second try. I should probably read the directions first, eh? Yeah, it's working now. Thanks. Edit: Although, so far I've had to disable and re-enable the service after each reboot. Maybe I haven't looked at the docs closely enough yet. Something to do on Monday. -Joe

you can still upgrade the CPU to have a bit more speed and the memory as well. It helps a bit and it's not expensive. BR Vincent

in the meantime i investigatet a little bit via ssh. looks like the problem is, that every user gets in group 102 which is "users". i cannot modify this via the web frontend. if i create a new user without putting him in group 102 he gets into gid 102?!? i cannot remove group 102 and moving users to other groups doesnt reflect in passwd. so this is really strange and should be fixed.

Same problem here. I tried forward ports and nothing improved. I have given up on it for the moment until a new version of the download manager comes out. Maybe one will be included when they upgrade the firmware. Other Thecus NAS's appear to have BT clients with more features.

This can only be done via ACL's - You give some users read/write access, some users read access and some users are denied. Thsi must be done for every folder.
In Your home network You have then also to enter user and password for access.

When I fill in the fields and Apply, it creates the computer account in our domain, but then returns an error "Incorrect administrator ID or password Fail to join ADS domain". The username and password are correct (if they weren't, the computer account wouldn't have ...

Hi Skier,
I don't own a N5200 but a N7700 (which I think is even a bit older in hardware than the N5200 Pro?). Rebuilding a RAID5 array of 3x 2TB disks after replacing one of the three disks, takes roughly 10 hours when the system is under no load (as in: NOBODY using it).
I noticed that heavy I/O can even almost completely stop the build process, projecting rebuild times of over ...
