Free Prints

Decided to get them all from one place in the end, had 270 prints to do, most wanted £1.50 for delivery, and some were only 5p per print (so by the time you had 270/40 * £1.50), you might as well pay the 5p and pick them up from one place.

Looking at the Euyer forums, it seems that a few people have been caught out by E-Buyer cancelling pre-orders for 5970 cards, but failing to update the customer. Anyone from trading standards in?!

Let us know what it's going to be used for.
From the budget, I'm guessing it'll be used for basic tasks only. But any 3D games at all - Sims 3 perhaps?

If he doesn't mind popping in a dedicated graphics card, I'd suggest this Zoostorm Core 2 Quad Q8300 Advanced Premium PC 4GB DDR2, 1TB SATA HDD, DVDRW, Vista Home Premium - eBuyer for ~ £360 .
The integrated graphics may be enough. Otherwise a silent HD 4350 for ~ £25 (with a dedicated HDMI port) will do nicely. I agree that a HD4850 will be loud & overkill for a non-gaming PC.

on a serious note, and you probably dont want to hear this, if you want new tech like this best place to buy from is overclockers.
