Righty, mobo plate: Preparing to bend with precise tools; a chopping board, log, a bit of wood and some clamps... Who says you need expensive tools to mod? All set up and ready to bend The log of bending: The result: I can't do any more until i'm back at work, because i need some M4 threaded bar, nuts and nylon washers and don't want to buy any

Update #1 - 31/06/09 Did a sketchup of the case. This was my first time using sketchup. Quite a few of the components I got off the database of models but i made several. The whole thing is precisely to scale (to the millimeter) so i can take measurements etc off it. Front Back Front Side Empty Case WC'ing loop Components ...

First update: Still planing and plotting I'm kicking about ideas on how to mod this case, two main ideas so far 1 - Lower the psu This will involve removing the back panel cutting it up and some how putting it back together again. All without weakening a none to sturdy case frame, as the back panel forms part of the frame of the case. The reason for this is so I can stick some ...

I'd go for the 9600 GT rather than the GSO: the eco GSO is seriously gimped (128bit memory bus, ofr one thing). There is a new revision of the 9600GT that only has a TDP of 59W so should cool pretty well and overclock nicely, and of course it's simply a better card than the GSO to start with Some of them are tagged as Eco editions, but some of them you'll just have to read the reviews and see...

I surfed all over the Net but did not find any examples of Hello Kitty mod, at least not as extensive as I was planning on making it. So, with a handful of inspirational images I decided to do it. 1. Cost: You can go with a cheap case and some spray paint from the local hardware store. Probably not a bad idea for either a first-timer or a very budget-conscientious person. Or, you can ...
