Need help choosing soldering iron

Yeah, I've done a fair bit but mainly hobby-related. I've heard Antex are supposed to be good in the past but I wasn't too sure. Also I do use lead-free silver solder so would a standard iron be OK (I've noticed it does take longer to melt with this iron). Thanks

Yes, that's a point worth making, although for most goods 30 days does seem to be accepted as a de facto "reasonable" period, unless there are obvious reasons why it should be something different (such as the aforementioned banana). I know this is true, I read it on the Internet! Certainly I'd be surprised if I found maggots in my motherboard after, say, 25 days, and I'd be even more surprised if a judge told...

Defo sounds like the card is toast from what you have said. Easiest way to find out is to try another one if you have one handy.

Obviously you paid using a credit card.
If you did, your first port of call is the CC company, who will suspend the payment to the retailer.
If you didnt pay by CC, then I'm sorry. I cant help stupid people.

If your monitor is DVI only and you have a VGA cable, you are going to either need a DVI Cable or a DVI-VGA convertor. Either that or you are trying to connect a male to a male end or female to female?

Turns out there is a problem with two of the Coax loops in my house. The one on east side of the house stutters, and has pretty bad signal. That or there is something wrong with the Kworld I put in my case.
The loop in the south of the house has terriable signal, and half the time we can't even get TV from it. But the loop on the west of the house is fine.

System specs would be useful as would knowing what other applications you had running at the time.
Possibly lack of memory could cause unexpected shutdowns, but equally, could lack of power or overheating.

As daft as it sounds, and looking at the specs of the psu http://www.zalman.co.kr/eng/product/...ad.asp?Idx= 196 , your pc maynot be powerful enough for the psu to fire up as it requires minimum loads on several power rails. It is afterall quite a low power pc (as in wattage requirements) with a relatively high power psu.
There is obviously nothing wrong with all of the hardware as you have...
