FAO of Barrichello and Saracen. I thought the same as you too guys, and still do.. but one thing that a very eloquent chap said on radio today struck a chord. He said that we DONT get free banking in this country. Why? Because we are not paid as much interest on our money in a current account as perhaps would be fair. The average being around 0.1%. (we'll not get into the "where you have it invested" arguement of off...

Now that I think about it, it's pretty darn expensive isn't it? I did consider taking Shinkansen + trains to from Hiroshima to Hokkaido to make the most of my fare, but decided that it's still too long of a journey for my limited time (I don't think it would be uncomfortable, just too long). I am flying by Finnair £569 (excl. cashback). Not too bad for flight booked 3 days before departure (heck, a flight to Aberdeen is...

It's not just you that thinks like that I already have Monsters Inc, Wall-E and cars on BD as they were a good price a while back on Amazon. Also got the original Batman series of films at the same time. That's acceptable though, as the new ones are very different from the first 4.

I like Vampire related stuff, and I must admit, it is partly due to hot women in films/tv playing those parts I also like the dark, gothic themes associated with them, and the superpowers that vampires have. I'm not a fan of drinking blood though.

I don't have any sympathy for people that go overdrawn and then whinge because it costs too much (if it costs too much, get a different bank or don't use your overdraft). However, I was fully in favour of the consumer in this case because the charges are frankly ridiculous in many cases. I mean, £35 if a cheque bounces? A long time ago, I used to keep only £1 in my current account at any ...

Its more about TradElect than the OS really. In all honesty there is so very little to make you choose one OS over the other in this type of task, because you end up twisting it so horrifically into a shape. The money and resources available mean you don't need to worry about that RAD like we can get this bit done easy if we leverage on windows.

These stories have been around for years. There is still a steady demand for paper cheques, and I still use them for sending money overseas as it's still the cheapest and most secure. Sure it's a lot lower than it has been, and they are expensive for the banks to process, but there's still no other way of doing it in many cases.

Things have moved on a bit, but not much - to me, it seems that the main thing going on is a lot of champagne drinking... We've been colliding very low-luminosity beams (low luminosity means not many protons in the beam) at the injection energy, which is 450 GeV per beam. So basically we've just been storing beams in the LHC that have been accelerated in an earlier synchrotron in the chain ...
