Herceptin (Traztuzumab)
Published (2009-11-08 13:38:00)
This article is a description of how Herceptin works. Hopefully it is helping you. It says even if it doesn't stop your cancer 100%, it should be continued, maybe with the addition of Lapatinib (Tykerb) or other chemotherapies.

Kanzius "machine"...
Published (2009-11-03 08:20:00)
I saw this on 60 Minutes. It was very exciting to me. Mr. John Kanzius was an inspiration. This could truly be a breakthrough that we have all been waiting for. Just think, one could be cured and not have to go through all the surgery, chemo effects, etc. that everyone on this board has endured.

GM-CSF as therapy
Published (2009-11-07 14:18:00)
I did tons of research prior to therapy. My onc was going to do Neulasta but said he would do Leukine without hesitation. I used Leukine after all cycles, including my 4 AC treatments and the Taxol treatments. Normally, Neulasta is not given after the last chemo (since you have all the time in the world to recover). But I got 7 daily injections of Leukine to re-boost the good stuff as my onc said that is why it is done. It takes Leukine...

Melatonin cancer treatment...
Published (2009-10-31 22:57:00)
I have a theory on my cancer. I developed characteristics of autism when I was in kindergarten. Autistism shares similar characteristics to mercury poisoning. They say autistics are low in melatonin. Perhaps this is the beginning of the cancer disease chain. The common link in "advanced" countries being the increased vaccination rates with thimerosol as a preservative. Autistics are more likely to have allergies, asthma, selective...

The HER2 and HER3 Interaction
Published (2009-11-02 17:47:00)
UCSF is doing some cutting edge research regarding the role between the HER2 and HER3 proteins and the interactions between the two. According to the article on page 3 of the Fall Newsletter (link below), HER2 cannot cause breast cancer without the help of HER3 and research at UCSF is re-defining the causative driver of this disease as the HER2-HER3 dimer, not just HER2. This is why I am SO excited about targeted therapies like Neratinib,...

This is combo I did but mine was for newly diagnosed Stage II or III, cancer could not have spread to get in the trial. As you can see below, my results were amazing. It totally did away with my tumor. I hope this will make it easier for all to get this combo.

Thanks Rich I have a Canadian friend who believes a relative of hers was cured of advanced cancer by taking cannabis oil brewed in her own kitchen from the heads of the hemp plant. I was sceptical at first but who knows!! Ellie
