LCD v. LED

I'm a newbie and I look forward too many discussions on this board. I have a question. I am about to purchase a new television. My two choices are as follows: Sony LCD (KDL52W5150) 52 inch, 120 Hz for $1499.97 Toshiba LED (55ZV650U) 55 inch, 240 Hz for $1799.97 My question or concern: I know Sony is a top brand, but I'm not as certain about Tishiba. I welcome advice and suggestions. Thanks in advance.

It even does something to standard definition that trick you into thinking you are watching the people live. I do not understand why the Samsungs are the only TV's in which I've seen this. We have a...

Go and look at each set you are interested in and then buy it. Thats the best advice you'll get because that is exactly what you will end up doing anyway.

Get the Walmart monitor. At 19", I wouldn't be overly critical about size/picture quality (although, it should be very good). And... at least you have a return policy/warranty is you need to return/exchange it for some reason.
