QUOTE(EmpireSportRiders @ Dec 23 2009, 12:06 PM) I am sure this is a stupid question as I have seen the "teddy" name dropped many times, but what is the story? Is he just some ball busting cop or something? Many of people in my group are cops, so maybe that will help, who knows if he wil care about some NY cops. I will check out the Border hotel.... it sounds like Derby might be the place for the Feb trip....

There is a video out there regarding surviving falling through the ice on a snowmobile. Actually was very educational. The one thing I would never had thought of was not to try and pull yourself out of the water with your elbows. That will just crack more of the ice because of the weight of you and your water soaked suit. Instead, put your arms on top of the ice and kick your legs to make yourself on level with the ice. Then slide your self...

Exit 11 there is a Sunoco and a Mobil just off the exit. Exit 15 has a Mobil and one other station, maybe Gulf just off the exit (take a right off exit ramp going northbound). Exit 17 has a Mobil and P&H truck stop. (Take a left if going northbound) Exit 20 has a Mobil but it is down the road probably 3/4 mile (right off of the exit going Northbound) Exit 23 has a bunch of gas stations ...

Caledonia County Snowmobile Trails Club has been cleared by VAST to start grooming 12/15. We will make a test run through the greater St. Johnsbury area this morning to see how it goes. About 8 to 10 inches is on the ground and should compact nicely. If the temps go as low as predicted, the surface should set up perfectly. We will be taking plenty of pallets on the drag to stick in the wet ...
