If it is a regular XLT then yes it is a 580, if it is an XLT special then it is a 600.

I have checked the brake pads and they are fine. Would bad bearing affect the stopping distance? I could definately understand the noise coming from them. Also, with the seld having reverse could it be something with that? Thank you for your help

im gonna take a guess and say its possible that your throttle override is messed up and not working properly. this will cause the sled to not start. happened to me. play around with that a little and see what happens.

I'm guessing you checked the brake pads so if not those then I would check the chain case may have some missing teeth, loose chain and also check the drive cogs and bearings on both shafts.

Need a flywheel puller to get flywheel off. Then you can get stator out. Should be able to test the stator without removing it. Have you done a compression test on it? Also possible the crank may have twisted on it.

It should be illuminated steady. As for the bogging, I'd check clutching and compression. Your warm restart issue may be a TPS issue. When we first got ours from the factory, it was set super ...
