QUOTE(thesnowgod @ Dec 8 2009, 12:58 PM) Simply a guess but have you checked over the carb boots? I'd make sure they're tight and crack free. If there are cracks, you'd be getting too much air and the same could be said if they are tightened down to the carbs well. Also make sure you installed the slides into the carbs correctly and that the choke is seated properly in each carb too. I know I've installed...

if you stay with a single than your ok for the most part just unplug you ethanol switch and you may need to change a weight of the primary clutch or some springs just do whatever the pipe manufacture recommends if you were to go with a twin pipe setup you would need a boondocker box Attached File(s)   my_sled.jpg ( 1.12MB ) Number of downloads: 0

Water pump seal,,,
Published (2009-12-05 03:32:00)
Hello, I have a 94 Wildcat 700 EFI. I am in the proces of pulling the motor to fix the loose steering and I am going to replace the pistons, and rings. I have heard of a few of these engines getting wrecked because the water pump seal leaked, I assume into the crank case? I am wondering if I should change it even though it don't leak. Do I have to split the crankcase to do this? If I do then maybe I will leave it alone. I do have a...

2002 2-up 660 (non-turbo) top speed
Published (2009-12-05 16:34:00)
I have a 2002 I bought for the kids, pretty mello and slow, With me @ 275 lbs I can barely get 55 on the lake, but perfect sled for the kids or couple who just wants to enjoy the outdoors at their own pace. Plenty of torque to pull the sled around just no top end. Oh and did I mention the gas MPG matches the top speed. 55MPG is great. The price seems a little steep to me for I only paid 1500.00 for mine last year from a friend and it only has...

QUOTE(phoenixmn @ Dec 4 2009, 09:41 AM) I'm going to look at a 2002 660 that is for sale for $2900 with 1700 miles on it. The seller says it only has a top end of 65 mph. Does this sound accurate? I'm thinking it may have the wrong belt on it as the seller didn't sound too mechanically inclined. Does this price sound fair? I have an '03 2-up; they bumped the power up to 53 hp for '03 (from 48...

QUOTE(snopro678 @ Nov 30 2009, 04:36 PM) I thought it was about 102 or so. Actually, Cat claimed the 1998 & 1999 ZR 440 Sno-Pros at 97hp. From 2000-01 it was up slightly to 97.5hp.

05' 900 EFI exhaust ?'s
Published (2009-12-10 21:29:00)
I am thinking about putting an exhaust kit (pipe and can) and I hear that beings my 900 is EFI that it won't run right or I need to mess with fuel mapping or I need to do things with clutching. So I was wondering if anyone has had problems with that and what to do to fix them or if I can just throw the pipe and can on and have no problems.

There are no prices in the catalog so I figured it was online. Go to the AC webpage and ...
