QUOTE(XCR1250 @ Dec 21 2009, 08:26 PM) I don't think you use tar, you may use AC and pea gravel, but not tar. Bituminus concrete is asphaltic materials, concrete is cement, sand, stone, (aggregate) and water. just saying. Its just so much easier to type tar than( bituminous concrete), see that took me 30 seconds

4th wheel kit for the rear axle...
Published (2009-12-18 21:31:00)
I have an 05' Vector and had the 4th wheel kit installed. I don't know when they stopped putting 4 wheels back there, but I thnink it was to cut costs. I do know what happens without the wheel kit. A friend of mine drags sleds and said without the 4th wheel the sled pulls to one side on take offs. I had mine installed for this reason although I do not drag. It is the concept. With the 4th wheel your track will stay straight and...

If you just started it to put it on the trailer and did not let it run for a while, it may be flooded. Try holding the throttle open when you try to start it to clear it out. I hear this is some what of a common issue if you do not let them warm up.

Looking forward to the results of the PCIII and ignition since that is what I am running. Great job putting the time into the dyno work and comparing these two setups. It'll also be interesting to see if you are able to get more out of the kit WITH a PCIII and Ignition module.

Thanks for the reply's. I do have all the obvious covered .... got fuel, kill switch is off. It's almost like this sled has a mind of it's own. It started fine and I put it on the trailer ... a few hours later I take it to the parking lot to ride and it won't start!!!!! I do hear what I assume is the fuel pump when I turn key to position 1.

depending on many studs you put in i was told whether or not to add the 4th wheel. running alot of studs tends to make it pull one sided and adding the 4th wheel is suppose to help w/ that. not sure if its correct or not. i run 192 w/ out the extra wheel and only have about 900 miles on w/ no issues so far.
