I'm getting like a popping/crackle/static noise in games like gta4, HoN, some HD movies get it. For example in GTA4 when I'm running everytime I do a step, that noise has a popping with it. I was watchiing a show yesterday, .mkv file, and when the person talked I would hear the same type of sound with their voice. I didn't hear this when I was using the soundmax onboard sound few days ago. I do have the 7.1 virtual surround...

no way that i could find, the latest creative titanium drivers report a file missing error >.<. Best bet is to acquire the auzentech prelude 1.1 driver from somewhere and use that in place of the w7 beta driver.

Creative sound chip for windows 7? Has the support for them been better ever since Vista SP1? PLus, it doesn't have optic out which I would like to have to play music to my stereo system. Edit: Bought the Striker and AD700. Let's hope when I get them next week, everything turns out great!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't you need to adjust a setting with the receiver to get 5.1 when using optical? I've always heard that optical is just a 2 channel thing unless you adjust the receiver to output in surround. I could be wrong, but usually optical out from a sound card/onboard will output in just the front channels and needs the receiver to set it to ...

Whats the difference between This set only for PCI e XFI T series cards. and This set for Pax XFI Software Suite Winter 09 Edtion.
