Why does the voltage I set in the BIOS for the CPU differ from the Voltage that CPU-z and OCCT shows? They both say I am at a much lower voltage than I really am

534.7 is actually a tinsy tiny bit faster then 533 so why complain? Your @ 1069.4, probably a minor bios glitch, no biggie. Long as its stable forget it. Probably that cold air in Alaska making everything run faster! LOL!

My motherboard doesn't support any Phenom II processors and it runs perfectly. I just use the latest BIOS revision and just popped the chip into the motherboard et voila, it works!

Architecturally they have revamped it so the performance has been streamlined. Plus, the node shrink from 65nm to 45nm allowed AMD to add more L3 cache and clock the processor higher.

Yes it can. But it can't go the other way. You can't put a AM3 CPU in a AM2+ socket.

Your max cpu multi should be the most that you feel comfortable with. Ive found that even with no overclock whatsoever, the default 3.2 runs everything just fine. However I run it at 3.8 simply because I can.
You have to be totally aware of the heat that your cpu produces, and what it will go to under load.
Versus FSB method, the cpu multi is quite simple, and ...

AFAIK the problem was with Vista, not the CPU.
