Question about fan controller
Published (2009-11-28 19:32:00)
Hey guys, I was wandering something about fan controllers. If my fans are listed at 1600 RPM only (not like 800-1200-1600 adjustable RPM with little switch), if I plug them to a fan controller, will I be able to adjust them to like 1000 RPM instead of 1600 ? Or will my option on the controller be 0 RPM or 1600 RPM only ? Ty !

Ok, First, you would need a scanner or printer scanner combo. All scanner/printer scanners come with software to scan If you insist on a purchased third party software, try paper port 9 by nuance. Now, a lot of things now come into play. Do you intend to scan: PDF's? Word doc's? ..... Once scanned, do you intend on changing the format? Word doc's are easy, scan and edit with M$ word. If the document is a PDF, changing it is...

For sound cards, you'd be better off in the audio section imo. But, I'd rather you go with the Auzentech X-Fi Home Theater HD or the ASUS Xonar HDAV 1.3 Deluxe . Either one of those will supply all the necessary DTS and Dolby sounds that go hand in hand with Blu-Rays.. so long as you use the proper media players and things for it. With PhysX.. the 9600GT would be able to supply enough juice to do the physics stuff without problem. A...

I can recommend you a Razer mouse, which is the one I use... The Razer Lachesis. It's very smooth and comfortable, the dpi is adjustable and can go as high as 4000. It has some fancy things like the flashing Razer logo and a blue led scroll wheel, looks cool with my PC even if slightly pointless. Here is a link to a review: http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/R......

They are not actually 90 CFM. They are around 65 and there DBA is a round 25ish. Some fans perform really well in open air and some perform really well in front of a radiator and some perform really well in both case. I've read alot about fans and here is what you should look for: -Bearing: Sleeve or Balls or «Hydro». Sleeve are cheaper but have a leeser ...

HAF 932, or if you want built-in filters, the Antec 1200. The filters should not be too expensive though. Mid-tower cases aren't small at all. The HAF 922 and Antec 900 are on sale for about half the price of their bigger brothers after MIR on Newegg at the moment. Black Friday is awesome - I just picked up an Antec 300 for $25 after MIR. If you want tool-less,...

Q8400. I don't see point in getting dual core. Depends on the game I suppose, GTA4 needs quad and new games will need quad. Older games will be ok with dual cores, but those will be ok with quads too. Dragon Age: Origins CPU benchmarks - 75 percent boost for quad-cores

Reinstall Vista and see if it still happens, lol. I know it doesn't help, but the great thing about laptops, is you can't really swap out parts to see if it is hardware related. On top of that, I know HP/Compaq uses proprietary hardware, so the problem really could be the OS. Is that confusing enough?

proably, tho I am not sure cos it seems the 5970s are bottlenecked quite easily, you may need an even higher CPU OC
