Its weird, if run the cards at 900-910mhz it's fine, but if i go 920-950mhz the system completely shuts down mid bench. no warnings or artifacting, the system just shuts off....i have to switch psu off then back on to get computer to boot lol..

Hell no, I paid enough to get it to Denmark already, now I'll have to pay to send the rubbish back to England? And how could it EVER be a hardware fault if it works in DX10.1 and below? That's what does not make sense to me.

I've been having the same thing with my 22". Tried everything to correct it that I know.
When I hook it up to my 28" monitor, no problem. I guess an interface scaling problem. Only happens with M06 same as you. And same here with the 1.1.1 patch. IMO that program needs an overhaul.

Sounds like you are getting the most out of your current card. If you need more power you can upgrade and use the 8800 for physics, like me

My previous card was an 8800GT, my Windows version is Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit RTM, I have tried the DiRT 2 hotfix drivers, but that hasn't helped, and I've gone back to the normal Catalyst 9.11.
I've tried both windowed and fullscreen mode. I've tried updating Direct X.
I also crash in DiRT 2 before I can even get to the menu, but still, I highly doubt it's a ...

Its because its a old benchmark and win7 emulates dx9 so you get what you get.. try compatibility mode for xp if it helps but i doubt it..
