I own the desert warrior and it's the only kimber I've fired. I can say that it's very accurate and I've replaced the standard grips with Hogue wraparound grips and it feels awesome and they only cost me $30! Only disadvantage with you being an LEO is the highest mag capacity I've been able to find is 10 round, but hey when you are launching a huge chunk of lead very accurately you don't need ...

yeah kimbers are sweet i have 4 of them a pro carry , a custom combat 2 , a stainless target in 10 mm and a grand raptor 2. I just broke down and bought a nighthawk custom 1911 2600.00 bucks i can't wait to see how it holds up to my kimbers.

Sorry , but I gotta say it.... Oh about an inch LOL! You didn't say what caliber, I presume youu are talking about 45ACP. The 4" gun has a full grip and is more controlable for me. I have large hands and having 3 fingers on the grip is a minor problem, if you have small hands you may experience no difference at all.

I bough Kimber secound hand form person in Thailand old owner he modify weight of tricker he remove fire block pin out I send to shop repair they can't insert fire block pin they said push lod is modifield to short but gun can shoot normal for safety I worry or have any member have been take fire block pin out please inform
