Hendrix live in Berkeley 1970 should be mentioned as it is official now on the Hendrix estate label. If this recording is included then I hate to say it, but it wipes out quite a few other live albums. But then again, if we include all the official bootlegs, try the official Deep Purple Montreaux '69. That recording is possibly the best Purple live recording official or otherwise. Best big concert for me was Prince Sept 21 2007, last of the 21 Nights in London. The set list and the atmosphere was amazing, the audience was so up for it, and he was having the time of his life. Everyone in the audience were given purple glow sticks (all 23,000 of us) and it looked amazing. Best night of my life was with Prince at the Aftershow Aug 28 2007. A very intimate concert in a small club with just Prince on guitar, and his drummer...

the best concert i WOULD have seen is Megadeth and Slayer together.. But they canceled and now I have to wait until February.. but its ok. i dont mind because when they come back they're bringing Testament! It's going to be AWESOME!

Great thread This is my view for what its worth. We are all individuals, we have our loves and hates be it what we wear to what we eat, what we drive etc etc. Music is no different. LZ have and always will blow my mind (especially the live stuff). Something about them just hits home with me. I know pagey can be loose sometimes but thats not what its about imo. They werent that original (picture the Who with a harder/bluesier sound, but alot less diverse sound and alot less overall talent).
