I don't know anything about depression but when are people going to finally realize that those social networks are a double edge sword? That and the redhead kid that got beat because of a Facebook posting!?

I would...not more than a glass, and not frequently. Definitely not before the teenage years. I think it demystifies alcohol.

I think it demystifies alcohol ^^ Absolutely. Personally, I can't stand the stuff, I think it tastes nasty *shrug* that's just me, though... DH "likes" it (not like he goes overboard or anything), but even he says that that's what the big reason for doing it underage was... doing something you're not supposed to. Once he was "of age" the fun was gone, lol Honestly, I'd rather not let them because...

The answer is obvious in both scenarios. If neither party knows each other, then there should be no good reason for them to friend each other.

Jenny, don't you think you should not have to go around correcting the school? Shouldn't they teach it right? I always used the term Native American Indian in my classroom and would have been happy if someone had pointed out (politely, of course) any incorrect use of terms.?ODS is only three, but that does not mean that when he learns about things he should not?learn the correct term. I just wanted to make sure I was using the...

Try to get them involved...maybe have them help set up the "santa" presents after the LO's go to bed?? Tell them they can pretend to be santa and eat the cookies the LO's leave out.? These are just my ideas of what I would do...I was the youngest and don't have kids yet haha. I'm sure you could bribe them with something . :)?

I just suggested DD think about how she would feel. And so instead of smugly hinting that the kids who believed were being misled, she actually helped feed the Santa fire.? I'm sure with her little brother she will be all over that.? And when DS is old enough, we will try it that way too. If that doesn't work, I'll threaten.?

Cesar Millan The Child Whisperer?
Published (2009-11-23 23:19:47)
I personally think that animals are great training for children.? My husband and I got our rat terrier Tyson when I was first pregnant (he was born five days after I found out I was pregnant).? He was this tiny five week old puppy that fit into the palm of my hand.? He would wake up at night crying and I would have to get up and put him outside to potty.? Then I would bring him to bed (the same thing I did with my daughter.? She would wake up...

The only tradition I insist on is that while the kids are still little and believe in the whole shabang, they stay home and be in their own beds.  The thought of dragging them somewhere over the holidays makes me shudder.

My 5 year old loves these too. He just carries them around basically, as he has no idea how to play the game. They pop open when you throw them on the floor. That has become his idea of fun.

On a local radio station here in the Dallas area (though I think he is sindicated) they do this bit called Does that make me crazy?  Callers call in with their strange quirks & everyone decides if they are crazy or not.  Post your quirks & we can all decide who is crazy & who is not!  LOL! My quirk: I CANNOT stand wet toilet paper or kleenex.  My body literally locks up at even the thought...

Sex offenders suck. With that said, I don't think this man fits the definition of a pedophile (based on what you've stated). Many 17 years old look like grown women. I'm not saying this is right but said crime is legal in TX. The age of consent in many states is 17 - so I'm not sure this is the sort of sex offender you should worry about!

I am on Pristiq and Lorazapam. This is all fairly new to me. I am also going to therapy. Originally I had planned to wait to TTC for 3 years while I get better, but I have to admit, it hurts to give up. For the last year since our miscarriage, I have been avoiding...and haven't tried since. My Mother, DH and MIL all tell me to just let go and let whatever happens happen, to stop standing in ...

Since I've been in this situation, and know what I did, I have to say no, she has no obligation. He knows she's preg. He knows when it's due. New mothers have other things to think/worry about than going out of her way to talk to someone who doesn't give a rat's ass about her or the baby. I told him when he called a month later.   edited to slightly change some wording

What age would you start to let them work it out on thier own? Say there is a 4 1/2 yr old and a 2 1/2 yr old and they fight over who plays with what toy and dumb stuff like that?  Would you step in or let them figure it out their own. Also, what if one kid is dominating the other.....not like beating them up....but just makes up rules all the time adn manipulates the other sibling to do ...

Put the car in reverse and set the brake.  Reverse is your slowest gear. ETA: Why would it be dangerous?   You have a clutch? right? You should always press down the clutch when starting. ALWAYS. Just in case.   Parking brake, clutch, and gas to start it.
