I got a pretty one at Kohls. It's a Carters brand -- I got it for half off, and had a 15% off coupon too so it was nice and cheap

I have seen and heard of it and was looking to buy one a while back.? Two of my brothers work for the airlines and they tell me how rough the turbulence can get.? There is a reason why the captain tells you to put on your seatbelt.? Sometimes a plane can suddenly drop 150 feet and if people aren't strapped in they may hit the ceiling.? If you are going to be traveling a lot with your baby then I think you should buy it.? Sure you will...

my pedi said once he starts rolling to his tummy on his own that its ok...i would think constantly waking him would deprise him of sleep and make him cranky? the only thing i would worry bout is sleeping in your bed since its softer than a crib or bassinet matress...if you are concerned ask your pedi. my ds is rolling on his side to sleep so i am sure the tummy wont be long.? once he starts doing it on his own i'll let him.? thats just me

Talk to your DH.? Tell him how much it stresses you out.? And if he can't be on your side and help stand up to your MIL, then just don't do Christmas with her.? Tell them you want a quiet Christmas with your family.

I'm jealous of you all, having such awesome moms. My mom hasn't spoken to me since 1994. But thankfully I was blessed with an awesome MIL who more than makes up for what I'm missing. My MIL has been sooo helpful with LO.

Funny, I just had this convo with Stephen.  I take it this way...if your friends don't have kids then they probably don't understand.   When we first got married all of my "single" aka not married friends quit talking to me, until I called them out on it.  It wasn't that they were jealous, they just didn't know how to go about me being married now (someone said that they figured I was ...

you could try to construct some sort of "bumper" bumpers are dangerous in cribs when babe is unsupervised, but if you are going to be right there next to him, I think it owuld be ok.

A clean house, warm food, a good nights sleep and not having to scream "LEAVE YOUR SISTER ALONE" through the bathroom door. If you had 24 hours without your precious wee one, what would you do? I'd probably waste it on the computer.

we tried adding the rice cereal and i thought we had more spit up...and chunkier.  we are currently using a formula that has rice starch added and he is doing OK.  still spitting up but i guess not as much as before.  we tried enfamil AR and didn't really have success. we are using similac RS (which is lactose free) and it seems to be better.  we are also wondering if the RTF is better that the ...

Ahhh, MiracleAngel1 , that is one of my worst fears!  I hope you were both ok.  With DD#1 I neglected to dress her appropriately and her body temp dropped (in our own house!) and I totally freaked.  She was 3 days old. With DD#2 I was shaking a rattle above her face and accidentally dropped it onto her face.  Whoops. With DS I was a little cranky yesterday morning and said a bit too ...

I'm considering stopping.  DS wriggled his arms out last night and slept pretty well.  I have noticed that he has been pulling his arms out through the jammies at night because I guess he doesn't want to be so confined anymore.  I will still wrap him but I'll leave his arms out and see how he does.  This is so weird, I swaddle DD#2 until she was 6 mos old!

It was bound to happen sooner or later, and it will probably happen again at some point. Know what? TOTALLY NORMAL. We all have moments when we don't feel  like the most stellar moms, but being imperfect is part of being human.

We just traveled by plane to MI for the weekend. We didn't have a baby carrier but put him in his carseat attached to the stroller through the terminal, and then bagged the stroller for gate check. (he sat in his seat on the plane) LO is on similac sensitive and they make little 8oz premade plastic bottles that we took, so we didn't have to worry about heating formula, it was at room temperature...
