Why would you be worried that it is eptopic?? I had my tubes tied and had a very strange period a couple of months ago (random spotting a week before I was due, cramps, emotional, etc) and I was CONVINCED that I was pregnant.? Even mentioned it to my OB since I was at his office for my annual.? He laughed and showed me my pathology report from my tubal.? I actually was a couple of days late and freaking out, but did start my period.? I...

I completely second everything Michelle said! ?I, too, have a B.S. in Ed., and it goes against everything I was ever taught about how kids learn to read. ?Agreed- spend the money on books and read, read, read! :)

Seriously, if your sister doesn't have enough sense to pick up small objects, and then doesn't do it when you ask her to, it becomes a health hazard AND a case of immense disrespect.? Kick her ass out. I had this same issue with my 19 year old sister and hair pins.? Finally, I told her that if she wasn't going to follow the rules and pick up after herself, she had to leave because I wasn't about to risk my DD choking.? She...

We put the hexagon gate around our tree. Takes up half of our living room but it works for us.? The presents go under the tree and low enough that none of the kids can get to them.

My little guy? has had tooth paste caps in his mouth twice. Another time I was getting him dressed after his bath and he looked like he was chewing something. I looked inside his mouth and didn't see anything, he started to chew again and I thought maybe he was chewing on his tongue, then I saw something white. HE had the plastic cover to the door stopper on the other side of the bathroom door in his mouth! I try to think of every little...

DD had a cold that seemed like it lasted forever, which it really lasted a couple weeks I think. She had a mucus-filled cough and a runny nose. We couldn't do much as far as medicine goes. But on the night that was really bad, we did give her benadryl to help her sleep. Also, we used a warm mist humidifier in our/her room and that seemed to help. Her cough stopped first but she still had the ...

I don't know the right words to say so I will just say that my thoughts are with your family and no one should have to go through what you are going through. Kiss your older children extra tonight and hold them close to you!

Oh, I need help with this too! Since your daughter is at a home, maybe a gift certificate somewhere so the owner can buy supplies? Or what does the owner seem to like? Does she have a cup of starbucks with her all the time, or chocolate in her house?
My son goes to a daycare...he just changed rooms in November and when he goes on weekends he has other teachers. I have soooo many to buy ...

how are you installing? lap belt only? lap shoulder belt? LATCH? if you are using lap/shoulder belt, do your seatbelts lock or are you using a locking clip?
a lot of times tilting comes from the locking shoulder/lap belt combo and you can solve ...

DH is pissed that DS has been sick pretty much the whole time he's been in daycare. He just started 2 months ago and I told him it's normal. He says it's not so I'm just curious how often your child gets sick.
Please only answer the poll if you have your child in daycare or a day home.

It sounds like post traumatic stress disorder, or a form of it. Maybe you should go to your reg dr. They can diagnose you and you may need more counseling, and or medication temporarily. You definitely need to be treated for it. It will just get worse without. Good luck.

DS actually could care less that the tree is up. He latched onto this shovel we put out the same day as the tree that says Let It Snow on it. He goes straight for that instead of the tree. He likes to scoop his balls up in it. :)

Congrats! Sorry about having to trade in your truck. DH and I were about to buy one and the guy said he needed a couple more days to get it all ready to go and the day before he called us back, I got my BFP. We couldn't be happier. Our kids will be 19 months apart.

You as a parent can refuse any and all tests on your child. That said, the doctor also has the right to refuse to have your dd as a patient if you do not follow their "protocol" for treatment. There is no legal requirement to get the tests, it is just a requirement for that doctor.
My doc uses an amended vax schedule. She makes it very clear up front that she will not waver on that ...
