Most of the portland public parks pools do swim classes for 6 months and up. We went to the matt dishman pool and really liked it! They did have several classes going on at the same time, so if your LO needs a quite space you should consider somewhere else. I went to the Natural Childbirth and Family Clinic for a vaccine seminar last month.? They hold it once a month, usually on the 2nd Tuesday night.? It was held by a naturopath/PhD and I thought it was really informative and really helped us have a better base to make our decisions about immunizations later. I've heard good things about Andaluz Birth Center.? I think they have a couple locations.

I used Alma for the birth of my daughter, and it was great. I would just recommend visiting the different birth centers and see which one feels right. We went to Alma b/c it felt right for us and it was a 10 min. walk from our house. Having a birthing center close was really nice b/c you go often for prenatal visits and when you are in labor, you are not going to want to drive across town to get to the birthing center.

Greatly interested in recommendations on daycare or preschool providers in downtown Portland or Lake Oswego.? I have a 3 year old and a baby on the way and both myself and my husband work full time.?
