Caleb's first real smile was last Sunday (4 weeks old) we started playing
peek-a-boo with him and I could see he was trying to smile. So I kept playing and suddenly his face almost split down the middle with the biggest grin. It was SO cute! But we haven't had many real smiles. DH still thinks he's too young to know what he's doing...but I have totally seen a few real smiles.

This sounds exactly like my DD, and she has "silent"
acid reflux. The "silent" is because she rarely spits up, but I can hear it come up and then she swallows and screams in pain. Our pedi just started her on Zantac 2x a day, and I can already see improvement. I hope it continues.

My daughter is falling somewhat into her own routine. She feeds every night at around 9pm-ish and 11pmish. So she's asleep
around midnight-ish, which is when we go to bed. She wakes up around 2-3 and then again 5-7ish. She's wide awake at 7, so we stay up for about an hour and a half and then she goes back down. We get up for the morning at about 10-11 (ah the luxury of not having to work right ...

Thats weird because WIC gives Enfamil in our area.
If I were in your shoes, I would do whats right for the
baby. If he need some particular formula, and you can't afford it, but you have a way to get it. Then I would do it.

it is a HUGE adjustment!! I am not proud to admit it, but the other day I got in the car alone for a very short errand and I had the
fleeting thought that I could just start driving and not come back...
which shocked the pants off me!!!! I am not that kind of person. But I guess that tells you how big the adjustment is. all that everyone says to me is that it WILL get better. and I have no ...

I'm not sure, but I think it was the shot my husband got. I'll have to ask him and I'll let you know. But at the hospital my mom works for their not giving either for the reason of little ones getting sick.

DD loves the kangaroo hold, but hates anything where she is crossways on my tummy. I don't think she likes the way it holds her feet.
Maybe she will grow into it?
The only con for me personally is that the BFing hold doesn't work for me. I find it really difficult to get into (but I am plus size and really busty) and LO (again) doesn't like the position of her feet.
But I still like the ...
