Parents Choice diapers?

I've used them for all of my kids and haven't had a problem. For $5 bucks you can try them and wouldn't be wasting a ton of money if you didn't like them.

STOP CALLING MY BABY FAT! - VENT
Published (2009-11-09 09:39:30)
That is very rude of your friend! It is one thing if someone is calling her chubby in fun (chubby babies are adorable), but she seems like she is being mean about it :( I don't balme you for being upset. And 17 1/2lbs is not even big!! Put on your smile and break out the wine!

Feeding advice? Baby not gaining...
Published (2009-11-09 19:37:43)
My little guy wasn't gaining either.? None from 4 months to 5 months.? I EBF so i don't know how much he takes, but I have been taking supplements to increase my supply, and started two meals of solids a day.? I think in your case, getting more milk in her is most important.? Maybe try feeding her more often, and offereing her more even when she seems done?? How often do you feed her?? What does your doc say?

Using the mesh bag...
Published (2009-11-08 00:00:00)
Which brand have you got?? Mine is Munchkin brand from Target, and the handle is a ring that he can easily hold.? I do have to readjust it sometimes to get the mesh part back in his mouth, and sometimes he drops it, but if he is in the high chair or Jumperoo he can manage it pretty well on his own.

i always start our new foods at night..( i guess im doing it wrong i dunno) my reason is selfish.. i want hubby to be there when were doing it so he can be a part of the process.. he misses out on so much through the day.. anyway.. im sure the baby will be fine.. as long as there arnt any allergies in your families. good luck.. its soooo much fun!

Video monitor
Published (2009-11-09 20:22:18)
Got the same one as everyone else and it's great :)? My baby's room is on a different floor than my room and it gives me great piece of mind! The only thing I wish it had was another thing that was just sound so you could use it other places in the house. Sometimes I dont need the video and I hate moving it because I have it positioned perfectly.

I'd pay 5 bucks for the shirts and 7 for the pants, esp. since you threw away the stuff in poor condition.

I so sympathize with you my LO is 5 months and for the past month he has been really fussy during his sleep and its usually like clockwork anywhere b/w 3-5am.. he is usually down for the night anywhere b/w 9-10pm.. He doesnt cry as much as he just fusses I have no idea if its because his binky is out or that he's uncomfy in some way... we make sure we dont over/under dress him for bed and that ...

I got a terrific image in my head of wrapping my own baby's butt with a plastic bag :) She's been pushing out litttle quarter sized poops 5 times a day for the past 2 days, so I gave her pears 2x today to help move it along - so we'll be in that boat tomorrow! Good luck! (and refill your wipes container so you're not doubley screwed)

I'd start with one type and then move on. I make alot of my own food and started with yellow squash, gave that a chance, then moved on to butternut, etc. This is my first LO so I am taking it kind of slow just to see what he likes/doesnt like, what gives him reflux, etc.

I feed some fruits mixed (after I went through the 3-4 day wait) and sometimes solo.... same with veggies. They recommend mixing LOTS of things with peas because peas are fantastic for you but taste a little icky

i once asked the pediatrician about this, and i was told to simply keep it clean. i think it's a common baby skin condition. she said i could rub a tiny bit of oil over it but my LO has tons of long thick hair, so she said it's not necessary. it was just going to get messy. it could be from soap residue - now i'm extra careful to rinse out all the soap from her hair when i wash it.

Personally I don't think there has been enough testing on it and you don't know the long term effects that it could have on your child. I do not plan on getting my LO but the decision is yours.

I use them and I love them. I have never had a leaking problem but I try not to fill them above 4 - 5 ounces. It's easier to defrost two than it is to replace six lost ounces.
