Also as your size increase and pressure is put on your lungs lying flat on your back may increase your shortness of breath and isn't that good for your low back either.

lol I'm glad I'm not alone! I knew I couldn't be but not everyone wants to admit it either. My girls are 10 and 13 and are constantly on me with "I'm bored" or "what are we going to do today?" ugh. I tell them if they keep bugging me they are going to clean the damn house! They tend to entertain themselves quickly after that! I wish they wouldn't hate their dad so I would have every other weekend...

HA HA!? This is going to be a fun post!? DH is getting a 60 Gallon Rain Barrel from the kids and myself, a subscription to "Countryside" Magazine from me, 4 old tires from my car to make a worm composter, and a hair cut kit from "Santa."? Our anniversary is December 21st, and we'll be going out for a nice dinner the Friday before and enjoying an evening without the kids.? Just a little background information to...

Road rage?
Published (2009-11-19 00:00:00)
Any one here have road rage? Is it better or worse while pregnant? I'm looking at this from a comical standpoint. Obviously, we all need to take extra precautions and drive safely, especially now. I was on 95S last night. Everyone on the east coast probably has 95 at some place in their state. Well, I am in Northern VA and the traffic here is horrible. I found myself (alone in my car) cursing at the other vehicles for their stupid...

I am SO against shower games! I hate playing them!! Lol the only thing we are doing is putting a note in the invitation to bring diapers/wipes to get raffle tickets. For each pack of diapers/wipes a person brings they get a ticket to register for one of a couple gift baskets we are making up...themed probably like a movie night basket and a baking basket. That way someone still gets ...

OMG I would so be annoyed and would have lashed out on him already. You have every right to be tired, taking care of kids that aren't yours is hard work. He needs to put his time to good use he can be painting the baby's room or making sure all the house work is caught up. Ugh men

here's my thing: boys should have a good, strong, known middle name - or first name, whichever. i like that about boys. i think it makes the name solid. and kellan is a fun enough name, i think it goes well with michael, but joseph is also good. sorry i don't have more to offer, but i think you're spot-on right now with what you've thought of:)

i didn't actually faint but i've almost passed out twice at work. the nurse practioner at my dr. office also said it was probably due to not enough protein. i felt fine after about 30 minutes later but it was scary! you would naturally think to remedy low blood sugar with carbs but in fact it's usually lack of protein. i would keep cheese, peanut butter, nuts or protein bars on hand just incase!...

If the world will end in 2012 what do you have to be afraid of? We will all die together and if you believe in a God then you will be rejoined with all of your family and friends anyway... i wouldnt stress.. remember all the panic for 2000?
The only thing im worried about is the elections and the next president.

Sounds like you should plan on staying home as long as possible then. That has always been my plan. With my second I woke up in labor @ 10 am and didn't go to the hospital till 7 pm, she was born at 10:32 pm. With my third I went in to labor at 10 pm and didn't go to the hospital till 3 am, she was born at 9:35 am. I should have waited longer to go.
Make sure to have a copy in writing of what...

Boulevard or Advocate. Both have higher weight limits and side impact protection. We put DD in her Blvd at 10 months and rear-faced her until 21 mos. Weight limit is until 65 lbs. When this baby outgrows his infact car seat we will be moving DD into a Frontier which has 5-point harness up to 80 lbs and then turns into a booster until 100 lbs. Google info about Britax Regent and you may find a ...

I know Shavonne you are almost there, it should be safe to take Tylenol but ask your doctor or midwife first just call and tell them you are having back pain. I have back pain to but I have mainly cramping associated with gas. And my feet hurt really bad, but you know I think sometimes boys tend to weigh heavier on our insides. Take warm baths and try to get as much sleep as you can. I know we ...

I heard its probably not possible to pump enough milk to breastfeed past the 6 week maternity leave.
That's untrue; there are many moms who do pump while working, and feed their babies breastmilk for a long, long time. I went back to work full time when DD was six weeks old, and continued to work until she was just past 7 months, at which point I resigned and now stay at home. But, ...

Weight gain is very variable in pregnancy - and I don't know about you but my weight goes up or down 2 lbs or so depending on fluid retention, etc.
So check again soon and don't panic! And if you are gaining a lot - call your doc to make sure it's not water weight.

Spaghetti sauce and chili freeze well. I haven't tried a casserole in the freezer before, but I'm sure that would work well too. Just throw it in the oven.

Boobs look worse in pregnancy then when you're bf. BF really did nothing to my boobs except made them bigger. Pregancy makes my areoloa's big and gave me stretch marks on the sides.

I just hit 21 weeks and for the most part have been feeling okay. The only real difficulty I have is with the dramatically reduced energy. I am very tired regardless of how much I sleep.
I feel a little movement, but not much and have gained about 10lbs.
We are having a little girl named Annika Sloane and have just started to work on the nursery. This is out first so we are super ...
