I thought for sure C's would eventually turn brown like DH, but they are hazel, and looking to stay that way...they were blueish/gray/brown for the longest time!

At first I couldn't figure out what a Baby Bucket was! LOL Happy Moving on up Marcus! DD is almost 18lbs and she can use her it up to 30lbs. So far I plan on leaving her in it for a few more months. Most of the time I wear DD in her Beco so I don't have to carry her. I am not ready to say goodbye to our "Baby Bucket' yet!! *sniff*sniff*

Cloth diapering in an apartment?

I'm a horrible housekeeper, but my diapers stay clean... I wash them every 2 days or else, I'm going to be in big trouble because I would've talked DH into spending all this money and we would still have to buy sposies - he would NOT be a happy camper... and yes, you need to vaccuum your floor ATLEAST once a week with a baby on the floor :)

Prune juice for constipation?
Published (2009-11-06 00:00:00)
To be honest if its that bad to where he won't eat... only by syringe, I would do a suppository.? For upkeep, yes you can use prune juice (I usually dilute and do 1 oz juice, 1 oz water), once a day.? Or you can feed prune baby food...

I didn't and don't plan to.? Not enough research.? They only tested it on hundreds (not thousands) of people as they have the regular flu vaccine.? None of those people were infants or elderly.? Doesn't make me feel to confident.? Because of this, I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that it hasn't even truly been recommended for infants yet.? Makes me uncomfortable.? Not sure where I read that...it's been a few...

Yep. My ODS got it today and my YDS and LO will be on Thursday. It is very important that YDS does NOT get the flu, swine or not. My ped just got it last week and is almost out.

Yep! DS stayed for 3 nights back in May when I went to Texas for a wedding and DH was out of town for football. Then on July 15th, MIL took him over night so DH and I could celebrate our anniversary, then this last Saturday she took him because we went to the Husker game and didn't get home till 2 AM. He does fine! And it's a nice break not waking up and checking on him! =)

My hubby is great! I make dinner & he cleans up, he baths our 3 year old on bath nights & I bath our 8 month old. He helps clean the house, plays with the boys, even changes diapers. He takes out the trash, takes care of the cars, & mows the lawn. He also works full time (so do I) & pays our bills. We take turns sleeping in on the weekends. When I am sick, he brings home pizza or cooks for...

My LO only has one tooth thus far but I clean it with a wet washcloth a couple times a week. His pedi said we can use a toothbrush but a washcloth will work just as good for now.

My son was 7lbs 5oz at birth and at 7 1/2 months is only 17 1/2 lbs but I've never been told he's unhealthy, in fact, he's extremely healthy. I don't think 16 1/2lbs is horribly underweight for this age, who told you that? My son is also VERY lean, no rolls no chubbs, but I wouldn't say its skeleton like...

I put what I can in the dishwasher. Stuffed toys I put in a pillow case & wash on the gentle cycle. Larger toys wash in the sink with soap & water.

We have a tiny 8 pound taco terrier who doesn't need much exercise, but he does like to be outside. We don't have much of a yard, but luckily, we have a bike trail about a block from our house that goes right by a farm with horses. The dog gets some exercise, and the kids love going for walks and seeing the animals.
For big dogs in the winter, though, I would probably just let them run ...

It is actually unhealthy to be inside all winter. One of the reasons so many people get sick in the winter is because we are al inside together. I personally think that fresh air is good for you and I love to take long walks with my daughter outside. She hates being cooped up and gets excited when she sees me get the carrier out. So, yes, we will be outside this winter (as long as it isn't damp ...

OMG, I cannot believe some people are still that ignorant to not like people becasue of their race (Nancy) and I would probably hate him too if he called my daughter a slut.... I am sorry you have to even deal with them.

Amanda hit the nail on the head with this one. And RoastingNorthstar is right - cloth diapered babies potty train 6 months sooner on average. 6 months less diapers is a lot less work and makes up for the little bit of extra work it is to wash diapers.
Its true that it doesn't always save $$$- there are some super expensive cloth diapers on the market, but if you don't go crazy buying super ...

Most years we don't put up our tree because we always spend Christmas with my family so instead I purchase a tree for my mom's home and the entire family goes over there about 2-3 weeks before Christmas to decorate it. It's like a family tradition. Everyone brings their Christmas decorations/ornaments and we decorate my mom's home and the tree. Then we take pics of all the kiddos around the tree...
