My son slept through dinner! :(? It was ok though because I forgot to take out his portions before adding all the seasonings.? My Gma and MIL did all the dishes too which was great because I hate doing dishes. I got to do all the cooking and didn't have to clean up!?I'm also?quite exhausted though.?Everyone left 2 hours ago, the boy is sleeping, and I'm just wasting time before I head to bed myself.

Thanksgiving for the LO

Whatever she seems interested in I will give her a taste unless is something as stupid as raw egg and milk haha.? I don't think its a big deal if something has eggs in it, because if you look on most boxes of biter biscuits or things of that nature... there are usually eggs.? Maybe I am way off though?

They can have food items that have milk in them since its a trace amount and not a huge part of their diet.

I KNOW!! My grandma fed my daughter some soda a few months ago!! I was so frustrated. I know she will survive, obviously, but it's just disrespectful not to defer to the parent. My grandma was doing it to get under my skin too, because she looked up at me and laughed at my reaction, even though I tried not to freak out or anything. Grrr...

Here's what she wrote after everybody's suggestions...
Here's what I'm going to say...I'm going to heat up her turkey and cook the fresh one I got today and tell her that I wanted to make sure there were plenty of leftovers, and that when it came right down to it, I was going to miss cooking a turkey myself - makes the whole house smell good etc. That way I don't have to lie and I ...

I have a PIS, so I don't know much about the other ones you suggested, other than it's the same brand name. I like mine. I have been exclusively pumping for 6 months now and haven't had any trouble with the motor or the suction. You probably have, but just in case, have you tried replacing pump parts? I have to replace the membranes every month or so since I pump 5x a day, every day. I notice ...

DD is doing the same thing. I'm working on teaching her not to. I just stay right by her and when she starts to pull up I say no in a stern voice, give her a toy to play with, and then praise her about being a big girl and not standing in the tub. She's starting to get it. Now I can tell her no, and she stops and then I praise her, then she tries again about 30 seconds later, but she is ...

Both the families do "dinner" at 1:00, and refuse to change it. So we went to my families at one because they actually decided to go out to eat and made reservations at a restaraunt, I have no idea why, because it's so much cheaper to go to someone's house, and then after that we went to DF's family and visited them because their thing usually lasts all day, so we just show up late..This has ...

Mine dd didn't have much interest in it. She ate two tiny bites of turkey, a couple bites of a roll, smashed the mashed potatoes around on her tray, put a tiny piece of ham in her mouth and made her disgusting face....so it was entertaining to say the least. I'm sure next year will be better.

No, she's just nosy and doesn't really have a right to know your weight. Especially if she's the type that will chat about your weight to everyone else.

Nope. I was not allowed to have sleepovers... in or out. I also wasn't allowed to use the phone, have a radio untill I was 13 or date/wear make-up untill I was 16.
My teenagers have all spent the night at a friends house, only my BFF's house though, untill they were 12. I will use the same rules for my 3 younger children as well.

Ha ha! I thought that was more of a statement than a question -- as in you were telling someone they really needed to put their kid on a leash. Cuz I know some kids like that. I have one that I used for ODD a couple of times. I don't think they're great for frequent use, but it's a little more freedom than a stroller when you're in a semi-crowded place like the mall during holidays or an airport...

I'm very lucky and have a mil who is fantastic (usually). Just some things with this baby, like feeding. No, I don't want to give her pringles, she has no teeth. But anyways, I call her mom or some variation.

I still put her to sleep on her back. And I'm working on getting her to sleep more, so I really didn't want to flip her over. She woke up shortly after I took that photo - I swear she can sense when I'm in the room, no matter how quite I am!

Oh, and the information on the side of the gerber puffs says serving size: 72 pieces, and then the calories says 25.
So a person would have to eat 72 of them and only consume 25 calories?
hmm...
