I think the rule is fevers over 103 for 24 hrs or more.? OR fever with throwing up and diahrea. ? You know what you're comfortable with and is she's keeping anything down.? Listen to your gut.

Kate - all the boys look great!? I tried to talk my boys into that same thing!? I said I could be the Cat in the Hat and they could be Thing 1 and Thing 2!? So funny - I keep telling you that we are long lost sisters or something!

I've tried potty training on and off a few times now, but he keeps going every 15m inutes and he doesn't notice it, but when I tell him he will take his undies off and wants a clean pair. I thought that may be the fact that he has a diaper on all the time he doesn't notice that he pees a little every 15 minutes, but he's 2 and a half now and I'm wondering if it's a sign that he as some kind of an issue.?

He is still in a diaper?? Or have you started potty training and he is doing this?? If he is still in his diaper I would say he is not ready to potty train, one of the big things is they have to be able to hold their bladder and go a lot at once. If he already is potty training that is normal in the beginning because they are afraid to have an accident. Ryan did this in the beginning, we would run back and forth to the potty and he would only...

Sweet I am going to try and track those down. It's too hard to have one kind of bandage for DH and DS and another kind for YDD. ODD and I have no issues with this stuff, so we're ok. Those bandages are awesome, I will see if I can find them ? Thank you for the info.

Normal to not be potty trained yet, so don't fret.? My son has no interest, and totally would sit in a wet diaper if we let him.? Some days he talks about the potty and being a 'big boy' and others he wants nothing to do with it.? All in due time.? I'm sure they won't be going to kindergarten in diapers!

I would take her in because this could just be a remanifestation/worsening of that. Perhaps it's not, but it would be good to check that she doesn't have pneumonia or some other secondary infection.
Poor thing. I hope she feels better. And poor you, too- being the Mama of a sick kid is no fun, either.

If the incentives you've already tried haven't worked I might just wait a little while. Honestly, it's still on the early side for boys, so he may just not be ready yet. You might see a huge difference in a month or two - it may be an independence issue where he will do it on his own terms and in his own time! 2 year olds are often like that! :)

This too shall pass.
I was as upset/freaked out as you when my older DD started having the same issue. My younger DD was about 4 mos old at the time and we were going through a stressful time (my grandfather's cancer came back and he was done fighting it).
My DD would remove her panties and get new ones on and not tell me. So I wouldn't discover until later... when she then needed a ...

ITA! I learned that lesson with my ODS. So when we started with YDS, we never used the potty chair - he went straight onto the big potty. Yes, he has to have our help to sit - but we just have him straddle the seat so he doesn't feel like he will fall in. However, he is now tall enough to stand up to pee so that has helped tons!

I wanted to and DH said no. We all survived before the idea of bolting furniture to the walls, and the kids will too. You just teach them not to climb. I hated his logic and the panicky mother in me said we had to. But ODD had never climbed, and had lived for 2 years in a regular bed without climbing or anything. So we didn't/. And everything is still ok. They know not to do it and know they ...

I'm having the same problem with my 2 1/2 year old! Lastnight was particularly rough. He cries and just will not calm down. If my husband or I do not go to him, he will cry until he is almost hyperventalating. I know this isn't helpful, but I am interested to see if any one can offer any advice!

Well Ryan told me he wants drums and until the other day he wanted ONLY drums, he said nothing else....PS the drum set is being delived today, can't wait to give them to him on Christmas.
He now says he also wants Candy Land because they have it at daycare and he loves it so I will get him that too.
Recently we were in target and there was a bucket of toy dinosuars that he liked so I ...

We went straight to underwear in June (for outings too) for daytime. But, he still wears a pull up for nap/night time. We call them " naptime/nightime undies." Like your lo, he has a full pull up when he wakes up in the am, and he's still in a crib, so he wouldn't be able to take himself to the bathroom at night. Usually, he's still dry at naptime. I really don't have any suggestions about ...

Austin was Handy Manny. I happened to find some Handy Manny overalls and I put all his HM tools in his toolbelt, but you can't really see them.

I guess I’m having a bit of an issue. When my dd was 2 I didn’t have issue. I remember what I read was to keep thinks short, go down to her level and look her in the eyes.
Well, I have a problem. With my son it’s hard to do that becaseu he wouldn’t look me in the eyes. He does just randomly when we play but when I talk to him he will always look away. I will even ...
