I broke a tooth back in October...I think I was around?30 weeks or so.? I'm on 40mg of Lovenox & 1 baby aspirin daily.? I refused x-rays.? My hematologist told me to skip one dose before I had my root canal.? They gave me a shot to numb the area & he did the root canal & put a temporary filling there.? Lotion usually helps me. I was told to not use much cortizone with pregnant, especially in large area. Not exactly sure why though.

I had bleeding a couple of times within the first 8 weeks. The first time it was bright red and LOTS of cramping (it felt like menstral cramps). We went to the ER and they did an ultrasound and everything was fine. They just told me no heavy lifting and to take it easy. A few weeks later I had the brown spots. I am now 16 weeks and everything has been fine since then. I hope everything ...

Hi Ladies, Here for your advice yet again-
(Backstory) Yesterday I was feeling good, had a big lunch at 11:30 and snacked the rest of the day (eating the same food as about 6 other fam members) but did not eat a specific dinner- wasn't too hungry. After putting M to bed at 8 decided to give myself my shot and then watch tv for a while before bed.
About 5-10 minutes after the shot I ...

I am so sorry for your loss.. How devastating..
There are a lot of woman out here with the same disorders and have had successful preg.
Did they check your Lovenox dosage? How much were you on? I was on 90mg 2xs a day (mine was a therapeutic dose because of clots. a prophylactic dose is not that high) but if your prophylactic dose wasn't enough maybe that could cause the problems...

Hi Ladies,
I was just switched from 40mg of Lovenox daily to 5000 units of Heparin (1ML) twice a day.
I'm wondering if any of you had to have your blood tested after switching to heparin. My hematologist just switched me, gave me directions on how much & all that, & then just told me to come back in 3 months with a picture of my beautiful healthy baby boy.
Also, do you inject the ...

When I first started the injections my stomach got very dry and itched like crazy. The doc said that this was normal at the beginning and to put lotion on the dry area and it should go away. Worked like a charm for me. Just be sure that if you are putting lotion on the injection area that you wait a few hours after your shot!! GL and if you are worried you could try calling a 24hr pharmacy and ...

I would personally think that, it wouldn't matter how far along you are in your pregnancy - it's your choice to find another doctor, especially if the one you are currently seeing obviously needs some direction in bed side manner. Being pregnant is suppose to be a fun and exciting time in your life & your doctor is suppose to provide reassurance and comfort - you should not be leaving your ...

I don't want to freak you out, but I would go get yourself checked out to be on the safe side. I was in the hospital for a DVT and PE's last month (and ended up losing my baby at 13 weeks gestation), and my very first symptom was that feeling like I had just been outside running in the cold weather. But, I was also EXTREMELY lightheaded and couldn't walk more than 10 feet without feeling like ...

I know there are LOTS of other women out there who have had losses as well, some even worse like yours I dont know what I would do if it happened at 30 weeks ya know? Im so sorry. I dont know..I guess Im just kind of looking at it as God saying Im not meant to have children of my own and my gift is to adopt a child in need of a loving family. Thats what Im leaning towards emotionally. I dont ...

Thanks to VonHerrin, I posted a question about heparin/lovenox in the June 2010 board and she referred me here. Here is my history:
Was on BCP for 6 years on and off until quitting in April. In June we decide to start trying for our first and got pregnant that month with a due date of March 16, 2010. I miscarried at 7.5 weeks with a blighted ovum.
I got my period again on August 30th and ...

I didn't start Lovenox until I was 6 weeks pregnant. I only had to take aspirin while we were TTC. The injections are not that bad and I find there are alot of different opinions about them. When i first researched Lovenox I found alot of people said it hurt really bad and stung alot. This is not the case with me. I find the injections very tollerable. I DO bruise alot though, and i'm sure I ...

This is my first time on Lovenox, but after my last miscarriage I was on folic acid, a prenatal, and a baby aspirin before pregnant and than as soon as I got a positive pregnancy test she wanted me to start 30mg 2x a day of Lovenox, so I would call your Dr. ASAP.
