What are your sitters doing with her while she is crying? 3 hours sounds pretty excessive. I dont think separation anxiety kicks in yet, and i know it doesnt peak usually until 9 months. Poor baby. Have you called your doctor? She could have an ear infection or it could just be teething.

So I am breastfeeding but was thinking about offering her a sippy cup with either bm of formula...just to try it. What do you all think? Have you tried it? What liquid did you use? Is it too early or is there no reason to try now and I should just wait till she can drink diluted ?juice?

Visit the sleep board -- they are very helpful over there.? Mine was doing the same thing and it was not just a "phase" or a "spurt" b/c it kept up for over a month and we ended up sleep training -- she now sleeps 10+ hrs straight

I'm going to start my lo on sippys this week but her dr already has her drinking apple prune and?apple?juice so it would be great for her to drink those in. But what kind would be good for lo to use?

Rolls back to front and front to back - both ways.? Scoots around on her belly by pushing her butt way up in the air, putting her legs under her, then pushing out - all while her head is down so she does move but not super fast.? Not sitting up yet and doesn't seem to have much interest in doing so, no teeth yet but I think she has started teething this week.? Blows lots of bubbles and raspberries and gave herself a hickey on her wrist...

My LO is starting to do this too! Sometimes before I feed him (I bf) I will lay him across my lap to get "ready" and the way I do it his head kinda falls back so he is a little upside down.. and it makes him stop crying and he starts smiling. It is pretty funny :)

When I start them out I feed them one step 1 baby food once a day.  It usually takes a while (meaning weeks )before they finish at one setting.  Then I slowly work in another so I'm feeding in morning and night, then another so I'm feeding 3 meals a day and then I also add another thing of food when they are older.  I start out with the baby food then I bf after the bb food is finished. So at ...

you will probably see spots on their belly/back within the week.  and, though it's tough to see them sick when they're so little, i see 2 positives:  they're too little to scratch (ie: no nasty scars!), and it's one less vaccine you will have to bother with.  did you ask the doc if it was ok to give benadryl for the itching or if you could apply a topical cream?  being prepared that way may ...

I'm for Wondertime!! It's really the best one out there. My MIL got a free subscription to Parenting. It's basically a vehicle for ads for kid stuff. Plus, I strongly disagree with some of their advice (e.g., they recommend relying on friends and family for advice on kids' misbehavior instead of going to a professional, regardless of the situation). I don't know about Parents.

Good job mama. That's what I was going to recommend. I read it in one of those baby magazines. Mine doesn't have teeth yet but she loves to clamp her gums down and turn her head the other way pulling my nipple like taffy. I dread the thought of teeth.

Turn the mist down. If it's making a mist on the furniture, window, etc., it's up too high. My husband got on me about it when I first got one because he thought it would put a mist on our electronics and ruin them, so I learned to test out the mist in whatever room I put it in.

My baby is now FF and has about 1-2 BM a day.  When we gave her some of this, she went a day without a BM and I could tell she was uncomfortable so I stopped giving it to her.  Plus, she never liked it.  IMO, just EBF until 6 month, then try it.  I am so jealous of people that can breastfeed and they recommend you just do that til 6 months.

I don't know what/when the problem with BPA is.  I can't figure out why the container to hold the powder formula is BPA free, yet all of the toys made to put directly into his mouth to suck on aren't.

My sitter has a pitbull. Lily is kept in her crate or in backyard during business hours. My sitter also keeps baby gates in the doorways close to the space she takes care of my daughter and hers (she also has a June baby!) if it was a rainy day and the dog is cruisin' the house. My experience with our dogs have been very positive. Our golden (approximately the size of a Husky) is incredibly ...

I took no classes and read no books. I just knew I didn't want an epi. I did use stadol (I was induced and had ambien, I think it influenced my decision, I didn't want anything) It hurt. But DH was there, and he was watching the monitor and would tell me (duh) when one was coming, and (most importantly) when it had peaked. I would breathe slowly and deeply, and, in my mind, count to 10 ...

I'm totally feeling it.  I'm not exclusively breastfeeding, but I'm nursing and formula feeding. I haven't had a period yet either.  I took a test a month ago, but it was negative.  I have chalked it up to hormones!
