Tip-toe walking

I think its funny how alike our "lily's" are! My Lily does it too but only at certain times, like you said, when she is dancing or something. She actually went through a couple week period where thats all she was doing (tip toe walking)?and then stopped. I really dont think you should be concerned. Maybe if it persists and becomes all the time.... but right now I think she is great!

What are you most excited to...

My son got the gift I was most excited for him to get this year already. ?He got it last Saturday for Hanukkah. ?It was the AlphaPets toy from Leap Pad. ?I can't wait to see the look on his face when he gets to open up his other things, but I'm sure it'll be more confusion than anything. ?He really wasn't sure what to do with the?wrapping?on his toy last weekend, it was kind of funny. ?My son is a very?deliberate?boy, no...

Any news from Trae?
Published (2009-12-20 20:34:41)
I'm here! Thanks for asking. Baby was just taken to the warmer so we're alone for an hr. He's exactly 7 lbs and only 18 inches...my shortest and heaviest baby. I am itchy and sweaty, but happy overall. I came into the hospital for an nst this morning, but he was nonreactive and I was contracting every 5ish minutes, so he's here. It's also my mom's BD.

yeah the bottom of mine is starting to look a little sad too.. i don't bother trying to stop my kids from touching the ornaments so long as they're gentle, so lots of them have fallen off. i figure i'll just fix it on christmas eve and let them enjoy it for now.

Cookie Help
Published (2009-12-18 16:29:32)
I've never froze my cookies but I've had cookies that were frozen before and they were delicious! I make some of my dough ahead of time and freeze it.? When I know I'm going to bake them I'll just let it 'defrost' overnight in the fridge & bake away.? Last year was the first year I did that and they turned out delicious.? I think I'm going to do it again this year.

I got this from a very dear friend of mine.  Halfway through I started to get the chills, before I realized it, I could barely read through the tears.  I wanted to share this with other moms.   She jumped up as soon as she saw the surgeon come out of the operating room. She said: 'How is my little boy? Is he going to be all right? When can I see him?' > The surgeon said, 'I'm ...

My FIL is the same way.  Have to babysit all of them when he's over playing with my kids.  He means well, but yeah, with the judgement of maybe a 3-9yo...  *sigh*  Although I will say that he didn't do much of the childrearing of hubby and SIL, may be working on a little bit of dementia/paranoia, and just flat out isn't around kids so he just doesn't have a clue.  Just because they *should* ...

Nope.  I do break off a little piece here and there for her with no kernal in it.  My son, who is 4 now, has nearly choked on it recently.  I'm not sure what it is about it but apparently the AAP has enough emergency room/statistical data to support that it's dangerous.

I'm just too darn cute for a minivan , but I'm not totally opposed to owning one.  I told my husband, we can get a minivan so long as I don't have to drive it everywhere i go.  I'd prefer to drive my SUV if it's just me.  There's just something weird about blasting my music in a minivan, so I'd like to, even if it's just for a few hours or short trips to the store, forget that I'm a mom and ...

Jodi I have no idea. No one has come up with any specifics and our only point of contact, her BF Oscar, hasn't been in touch again (not that we expect him to, he has a lot on his plate). I'll be sure and update as soon as I know!   Thank you all!

This is pure craziness.  It also took me a few reads to understand it.  But I'm taking it she is saying that she deserves this money because she doesn't get any days off like other people and then telling you to make sure she gets it and not one of the other carriers.  This is trashy.  Not to be mean but after I read that I just pictured what this woman probably looks like and it's not pretty...

I'm in Eastern PA between Philly and Allentown.  Looks like we're supposed to get hit tomorrow into Sunday here.  I think they're calling for between 3 and 6 inches (last I checked) for my area.  It would be cool other than the fact that DH has to work tomorrow, I've got errands to run and I'm supposed to go down to my mom's Sunday evening. Right now it's just very cold and quite windy.  (Of ...
