My ped said to start with either rice or oatmeal, just be sure to only?use one or the other for 4 weeks, then try the other...if you want to.

Since the "Back to Sleep" Campain started, the percentage of infants placed on their backs to sleep has increased dramatically, and the rates of SIDS have declined by more than 50%. That's enough of an arguement for me.? Here's an article on it.

You like golfing!? DH and I work at a very well known golf resort here in Miami.? We get to play the world famous Blue Monster course for free.? We do not take advantage of it nearly as much as we should.? Are you taking the baby out wiht you?? Or are you just going to play 9 holes?? I would love to go golfing with DH today.? It is the perfefct day out!!

Yes, be prepared to spend money. Things happen to dogs. Aside from yearly vaccinations, they get hurt, sick, etc. They can be like a kid. Assume every vet visit will be at least $100. You will need to keep it busy or it will find ways to fight boredom by doing things like chewing, digging, barking, tearing apart anything it can find, etc. Get it plenty of toys and take it for walks every day. Training is very important - I recommend taking it...

It depends your car seat. Our's is 32 or 35lbs. I remember looking at a smaller one when I was pregnant and SO glad I didn't get it. My LO right now is almost 16lbs and 3 months. The way I think of it is that they just had bigger starts than the rest of them. Eventually at some point the weight should level off and some of the skinny babies could even pass your son's weight. My nephew was itty bitty for a long time and then...

ODD was only on rice for about 2 weeks...it made her constipation worse...so she was only on oatmeal till about a year old.

I was the 3rd person in my state and the 1st in my county.  I had it back in May and was 27 weeks pregnant.  My Oldest DS also tested positive.  It was HORRIBLE!!  I have never had the seasonal flu so I don't know how it compares.

First of all why can't he watch the baby on his day off? I work one 5 hour shift every week (actually I take a lot of weeks off haha), and go to school for a total 6 hours. The rest of the time I'm at home with the baby and DF still helps around the house. He always does the trash and vacumns. He feeds the pets too. Its funny because I'd prefer BM.  lol.  I'd be annoyed.  Really annoyed, but not pissed or upset.  As long as your LO has no allergies, it should fine. But I'd be pissed if it happened again.

I gave my daughter pears as her first food and she loved them. Some people say to give veggies first because the babies only want sweet after they have fruit but for us that wasn't true. She loves her pears and her peas!

Mine does!!!! OMG I am so glad I am not alone! He also pissed on the doc when she tried to pull his foreskin back! And he sits in his highchair while i do laundry and talks to me. He said grrr ba ahhhhhhh the other day which I can only take to mean that he is a GENIUS! Oh and he has the biggest penis ever!

Cook them in a pan (on medium) with fat-free zesty Italian dressing. It's a favorite at my house. Or Campbell's chicken and rice casserole.

He's not very good at rolling from his tummy to his back so he kind of gets stuck.  But he's gotten much better at getting his arms in a good position.  Now I'm just trying to get him used to sleeping w/o a swaddle.  I've been leaving one arm out.  he got his other arm out last night though.  So tonight I guess I'll leave them both out and then tomorrow try and not put him in it at all.
