Well even though I nurse, it is basically the same thing. You still have to wean them. Natalie does great with a sippy cup, but I dont plan on weaning her until closer to 18 months. Just because I figure she gets more nutrients then cows milk. I had though about switching her to the toddler formula in a sippy, but I figured I might as well just continue to nurse and save the cost.

It's OK Kristie - long day here too! I'm tired! We get the open mouth kisses, but he kisses our nose... he leans into your face, mouth wide open like he's going to bite your nose, then just kisses it with his mouth open, all slobbery.... his dad gets it more than I do, an I'm so not complaining

we put our's up last week and it took about 3 seconds for her to figure out not only to play with it, but to also climb underneath and try climbing the branches. We did anchor it to the wall, so at least it won't fall on her. i keep trying to get a picture when she does it! too funny!

Yep! Suzanna does this too... doesnt like being 'shown' what to do by someone touching her hands. When we were showing her to clap we would sit behind her and clap and she would hold onto the outside of our hands or we would clap around her hands KWIM?? Also a lot of modelling. Glad to read your post, another sigh of relief lol

Here's a link to my post I did awhile back about them wanting to have DH work after hours unpaid
Well they just suspended DH agian. He's suspended until January 4th. Because of his ongoing "attitude" problems
I'm at a loss of what to do. We rent for the company he works for so they ...

I used to knit... once you get started it isn't to bad (although I could only make scarves) Now I can't figure out how to do it... I really want to make a hat!
Taggie blankets and toys are fun and easy to make... I have made my son a couple and he loves them... All I did was google it
I am making a quilt... and it isn't to hard to do and is time consuming.

I usually use shutterfly. With what you are describing though I'd use photoshop or something similar to make it myself and then print out either with a photo printer or take it somewhere to be printed.

DD's birthday party will be on January 9th, and I'll probably send out invites RIGHT after christmas. Litterally, probably the 26th or 27th. But no one from out of town will be coming, so no one needs to make huge plans to come over for a few hours, KWIM?

Haha, Aya does that sometimes. I'll be really stern and serious but she'll look at me with a smile like "haha, good one mom!" then she'll kinda stare me down with the smile and it's SO HARD not to laught at her! Other times though, luckily, she'll actually move away from something like an outlet when I tell her no. Depends on her mood, I guess.

We just switched a week ago (LO is 10 months and about 22 lbs, 29 inches). We're using a Sunshine Kids Radian XTSL in my Toyota FJ and love it, but we may go with something else for my DH's Mini Cooper!

We have been letting Tai sleep with a blanket for about 2 months now. It is one of those really soft fuzzy blankets. It is the blanket that he takes with him everywhere too. I used to just let him fall asleep with it and then I would take it out of his crib, but as I mentioned, he has been sleeping with it for about 2 months now. Most of the time it isn't even ON him, he usually rolls it up ...

yea hopefully bc if you have to take him to the doctor or anything they will make you fill out a report on your dog most states require all bites to be recorded if enough injury was caused

If the spot looks like it's been bleeding (does it look kinda like a blister that has been popped?) it is very possible it could be a bacterial rash. If it has been a few days and the Desitin isn't helping is also another indicator that it is something other than just normal diaper rash. It sounds very similar to what my DS just had. A quick trip to the dr and we were prescribed an antibiotic ...

I go to my grandma's xmas eve, and we just do snack foods, veggie tray, chips and dip, spinach con queso, ham sandwiches, nuts, and cakes etc.
We usually go to my moms on xmas, I really want to try and have it here at home this year but we'll see, and she makes ham, turkey, dumplings, rolls, mac n cheese homemade, mashed potatoes, green beans or a veggie and some sort of dessert (usually ...

Ok. first of all I am a SAHM. My LO does not see my family much or my DH family, although they live in the same city. So on Thanksgiving we went to visit my family. The LO was waken out of her sleep and cranky for the most part of the evening. She did not want anyone to touch her except me and hubby. She did not want to crawl or do anything. Everytime someone would try to pick her up she ...
