SIDS FEARS!!!
Published (2009-11-08 17:23:44)
SIDS is a terrible thing, but it is not as common as I think it is made to seem.? People talk about it, and cases are widely talked about to spread awareness.. but it is not an "everyday" thing.? Hundreds of thousands of children sleep in a crib w/ a bumper and never have a single issue, and some lay down on a crib matress with nothing there and SIDS strikes. I don't know that I can allay your fears, SIDS is usually fairly...

You are NOT a bad mother! I get irritated with my kids too. I am 37 weeks and I swear they forgot how to listen! :) They keep fighting and hitting eachother, then wait til I go in there then all the sudden they are sweet again... Turds... The only break I get is when they're at school, then of course I miss them... but I have explained to them that I wouldnt get so mad if they listened the first 3 times... and not wait til I raise my...

Anyone experiencing nausea again?
Published (2009-11-08 16:28:27)
Yes, I am sadly. About 3 weeks ago it kicked in again. It is not even close to what it was at the beginning but I have thrown?up twice in the past few weeks. It was the same way with my daughter though.

TMI- sex
Published (2009-11-08 00:54:25)
Oh I am sorry Sometimes I dont think men realize we are just as sensitive when it comes to sex as they are. Maybe he is just nervous about you dilating? It probably has nothing to do with how big your belly is if it has not been a problem in the past. Maybe he just did not have the enrgy. I foor one think it takes way more effort to have sex now then ever. No that probably doesnt hlp just know that it is not you

Which due date do you use?
Published (2009-11-08 00:53:05)
EDDs are not an exact science either way.....I mean think about it.? Three days--72 hours either way?? Not a big deal.? Ultrasounds are not an exact science.? LMP's are not an exact science for everybody.? That's why it's an "estimated" due date.? Trust me, don't obsess over any given date on the calender or you'll drive yourself crazy if that day comes and goes without action.? Your baby will come when...

36 weeks and still sick? BTDT moms?
Published (2009-11-08 11:56:37)
I have really bad morning sickness and occasionally puke. When I was pregnant with DS, I was sick the whole 9 or 10 months. This time I felt okay during the second trimester and now it is back with heartburn too. I've never taken anything because my doctor doesn't believe in it. I try eating small meals all day. May be this why I gained over 38 LBS at 33 weeks. Sometimes, I force myself to puke the green stuff in the morning than...

?I agree with Chapstick! Also CAMERA!! The nurses at DD's delivery were soooo amazing at taking photos for us, we ended up with over 100 shots of the first minutes after her birth (and they were all very clean 'non-coochie showing' shots!) I LOVE them for that, crossing our fingers that we get as lucky with the nursing staff this time, as we did a couple years ago!! ;)

My boobs are itchy a lot too... I'm getting stretch marks on them and I assume its where they are just growing. The nipple cream is supposed to start being applied at about 36 weeks I think to prepare your nipples for breastfeeding. It may help though with the itching also. Not sure?

I was told that pregnant women, kids under the age of 2, and people with asthma, etc should NOT get the mist. It is a LIVE virus. I was also told that after receving the mist you are considered contagious for up to 3 days. My son is 20 months so received the shot, but I would not have allowed him to get the mist, even if he were older.

I really shouldn't even be posting because I can guarantee there are people out there much worse!!! My older son has been sick since Wed, and my little one started with a fever this morning. Based on the Dr's recommendations of not leaving the house until they are fever free for 24 hours, we have been stuck in the house since Wed!!! I am starting to lose my mind! I am so lazy when I sit ...

I just read this on a different post, some insurances will cover a B-pump. I'm curious as to which insurance covers this?? My EDD is Dec. 4th, but I'm expected to go into labor around November 22nd. (or so says my Dr.???) and I have yet to be able to afford to throw down 100+ dollars on a pump. I do plan on BFing, but would like to share the feeding/bonding experience with DH. I suppose I'm ...

I'm so not into sex while being pregnant. I just keep telling my husband that we have the rest of our lives to make up for it. We went right back to normal after I had my first DD.

You are perfect and so is your child in just the way God meant you to be. You have every right to be upset by what was said. I really do hope it all works out for you though, 13 years is an accomplishment in todays society!

My c-section is dec 2 too...and I was thinking the same thing. I think I'll wait a couple of weeks...but do plan to do it before thanksgiving this year. The thing is, we do Elf on the Shelf with our 3 and 5 year olds, who comes out when the tree goes up. Every night he "flies" to santa and reports on how the boys did, and then magically appears somewhere new (the kids go looking for him in ...
