Anyone want to go early?
Published (2009-11-20 09:48:01)
I'm scheduled for my c/s on the 28th - so if I go early I WILL miss Christmas. LOL so no, I want her to stay put - even though I am getting really sick of being pregnant. :)

I'm not sure.? My dog (a girl I've had for 14 years) seems pretty indifferent but she has been much more active lately.? She's been acting younger, if that makes sense. My husband's dog (a boy we've had for 2 years - he's 4) has been a LOT more cuddly with me - especially with my belly.? He has to be the little spoon whenever I'm laying on my side.? He's a BIG daddy's boy - usually is indifferent...

YUP! That would be your lovely round ligament! The same thing happens to me when I sneeze hard if I don't "Brace myself" It sucks, but it's normal.

Is it on your nipple or your areola? If it is on your areola it is just there to help keep your nipple area from getting too dry and cracking. If it's on your nipple I would check with your doc I don't know what it could be.

I have been using the platex bottles that you can use with the plastic baggies. It's super easy to freeze my breast milk in the sealable bags and just stick it in the bottle when it's thawed out. It's also easy to warm refrigerated milk by just running it under warm water. I also like the fact that you can push the air out before giving it to the baby. It helps cut down on her gas.

Best for the body and easier in the am I've found. If I put it off I either never get to it or feel too sluggish to do it later. I work out mostly at home, I'm a Crossfit-Mama so can do most of my exercise in my living room or on my treadmill in my garage and can do a good workout in 30 mins. But everyone is different as to when they like to exercise! I "plan" on getting started as soon as I can...

Not yet. I was told the cinnamon tea would help contractions so I've tried that. It just made my stomach hurt a little bit. I haven't really been sure how the cohosh and primrose stuff works. I've been trying to find a place to get the raspberry leaf tea.
I've been through labor and delivery before but my first came at 38 weeks all on his own. So I never paid attention to anything that helps ...

I'm glad some people agree with me. I just wanted to put my own opinion out there. Agree or don't, it doesn't bother me.

There could be a million reasons to end up having a c/s. I wasn't planning that route w/ my first, but in my case, I dilated up to 7 cm and UNdilated down to 3cm. Never expected that! After being 2 weeks late and no progression, we did the c/s. I'm having my 4th c/s now on 12/10. If you're a FTM, the prospect of one may be scary, but it wasn't for me, b/c I had been watching A Baby Story on...

thanks for your input coastiewife, i know kids can be so cruel. i just don't want her to have to repeat it 15x either when someone asks her name! atleast we have a couple more weeks to decide...i would have to change the letters on her wall, but that isn't a big deal. i would much rather have the perfect name.

chardysmith - I grew up in Louisville and my entire family is still there and I must say, you guys have had the craziest freakin' weather I've ever seen the last few years! Last year I knew a few people who lost power for like a week THREE TIMES, due to tornadoes, that hurricane that made its way there, and that damn ice storm (which I was actually in town for, that was miserable). It wouldn't ...

I'm delaying clamping. I didn't with my first DD and she was jaundiced. I DID delay with my 2nd DD and she had no jaundice issues. It could be coinsodence, but I'd rather delay since I've already had a good outcome with it.
I never heard of it being a negative thing...

My mom had horrible heartburn with me and I was as bald as can be... however, I have had really bad heartburn myself and on the last 2 ultrasounds they showed me my LOs hair so I know that he is not bald at all! =) I figured he would be, because DF was bald when he was born too but much to my surprise, he has hair!!

I'm w/ you Dolly, I never understood why people wouldn't want to share their newborn. I mean I get it, there's fear of germs and such, but in my mind it's weird. I prefer the attention and I want everyone to share in the joy of a new baby.
And it would be awesome if someone came over to lend a hand w/ the house, but alas, no one ever has.
The best part is, you can kick them out ...
