Got the diapers, but no baby yet

As far as sunning stuff, you can reserve that for getting out stains. Hanging them to dry in the sun also works to sanitize, but really you can dry them wherever is easiest for you since the hot wash sanitizes. (Like Kellista said, to maximize the life I'd hang the covers to dry.) I was ten days overdue when LO decided to arrive. I know the last days are SO ridiculous, but hang in there!!! Soon you two will be cuddling! (And, of course,...

HE Laundry "Baby"...

Most people do have more trouble washing their cloth diapers in an HE machine vs. a non-HE machine, because the HE uses so little water.? It can be done though, just keep researching and asking questions if you have problems! This might help some... rockingreensoap.com/?page_id=307 rockingreensoap.com/?page_id=378

I love their diapers. They do not seem to be as popular anymore and I do not know why. They are a great price for custom dipes.

I don't like snaps. That's the reason I buy bsrb.. they have the snapfree closure. But I do know a lot of mamas want theirs to have them.. so you'd just have to try and see what happens. I am like the pp, I can get a much better fit with a snappi

Your little one would probably be too big for xs anything at this point. Gracelynn is 14 pounds now and there's no way her xs thirsies covers are going to fit much longer. and she never fit in an infant prefold.

that looks like a great start! things that come to mind... CD safe detergent CD safe diaper cream a wetbag for out of the house dryer balls  I'd get another couple of covers as well. I've heard that Thirsties can bother the cord (for some people, not all). Then again, if you are using sposies at first, you could just use those until the cord falls off.  congratulations on ...

personally, I like the look of bsrb's without snaps. The placement on her pics looks kinda strange. I've just never thought of them as "snap diapers" haha if that makes sense. You'll just kinda hafta put 'em up, and see if there's any interest. thats what I'd do. You can always add more snaps for people if they want, or something.

No tips, but just remind her that it DOES get better!  If she can just get through the beginning, she'll be so happy she did!  She should call the lactation consultant at the hospital she gave birth at...they should be able to help.

Any chance they'd try to return them to Joyce if they (for whatever reason) couldn't be delivered?  That would be a huge PITA, but at least you'd know your dipes didn't go to postal purgatory.

Yes mine did at about that age too! By 16 weeks it spaced out even more and now she can go 3 days in between poops. My doc and LC's have both said it's because there is less waste with BM because they are using all of the nutrients (very little byproduct).

I was so confused at first, but don't worry, you'll get it!  I love it so much, I have my own store now! www.cutiepoopsandbottoms.com Anyway, I started with pre-folds and Thirsties wraps.  I also bought a few BG's to go along with it.  Now I use a mixture of both.  I like the wraps because of the cost savings and the trim fit, but I like the BG pockets for the ease of use sometimes and for ...

So I put some diapers in my utility sink in my laundry room. soaking them in cold water... I walked out of the laundry room and started doing something else. I heard water coming from the laundry room but thought it was the washer doing something crazy... well it wasn't and then when I realized I forgot to turn the water off I went to go into the laundry room and I slipped in the hall way and my...

Me and my mom usually make a bunch of cookies the day before x-mas eve! We make like dozens of M&M cookies, mexican wedding cakes, peanut butter hershey kiss cookies, toffee cookies, heath nut bars... tons! We make so many to bring them to grandparents houses. ETA: This year... don't know. I'm sure we will make cookies but no going to grandparents houses, as we're 1500 miles away. sad.
