Fast Flow Nipples...
Published (2009-11-07 16:17:37)
My DH put a fast flow on DDs bottle and she struggled and chocked and caughed so bad, LO couldn't handle it.? I freaked out, and tried to figure out why, and when I was washing the nipple later, I realized it.? I now put the appropriate nipples in one place and the ones for later use in a place DH won't look, ha.? Silly men.

I voted for always, but it is really more like "most of the time" If he is already tired and calm he doesn't really need it, but if he is wound up he does.?

Mommy survey!
Published (2009-11-08 00:00:00)
What did you like most about being pregnant? Have you changed your mind about having more kids or not having more now that LO is here? If your baby was the opposite gender, what would his/her name be? What nicknames do you have for LO? What do you like most about being a Mommy? What could you do without as a Mommy? What is your proudest Mommy moment? What is the longest stretch if uninterrupted sleep you’ve had since LO was born?...

I would speak with a lawyer and make sure all of this is documented. You really don't want him getting any custody if he doesn't care about your LO

Any lamaze groups in your area?  If you BF you can find a BF support group, too (I bet there's FF support groups too).  Playgroups could be a good place, too.

My dd is EBF and she is the same way. I don't know about the formula aspect, but he said to wait her out up to about 8-9 days and if she goes over that to call. I've given her a few suppositories too, but I want to avoid them. She was going once a week, cut that down to every five days, but now she's going every 3 but there's not a whole lot of poop. I wish I had some practical suggestions, ...

I would guess probably no because of the bouncing.  I'd use a stroller if possible instead, but I don't think that's recommended until 6mo or so.  How about baby wearing and a brisk walk?

You can go to www.Campbells.com , they have some great (easy) recipes to start with. I would also recommend a crockpot. You can pretty much cook anything in those. There are great recipes on the boards here too. Do you have the Food Network? My husband learned to cook that way, and he's great at it now!

I think of crunchy as just being a little more "all natural".  I guess babywearing is a little more all natural than having them in the swing or carseat a lot.  (Carseat at the store or in the stroller I mean...not in the car!)

You know what I was curious about this too. Before pregnancy I weighed 176 (still had LBs on me from my DD) Last weigh-in before birth 223 Weight as of yesterday morning 186 My goal weight is 160 by next summer and eventually 150, but I am trying to be optomistic and realistic What have I been doing to loose the weight? Well I am watching what I eat and BGing althought I have been STUCK...

I can NOT do this. I don;t respond immediately to cries, but I can not handle his cries... it is like my brain turns to mush when he cries.
