Rice cereal constipated my kids sooo bad. Try oatmeal, he might like it and it doesn't constipate them like the rice does.

We went out to dinner and my LO was sitting in his car seat on the table next to us fast asleep. A couple in their 70's or 80's was sitting a couple of tables over and when they were leaving they looked down at him and the lady was making all of these comments on cute he was etc. I noticed she had some money in her hand and she tucked $2 in between Landon and his car seat and said God Bless your little boy and they walked out. That makes me wanna cry... how sad. I wish they could just stay little bitty forever sometimes. Our LO is still sleeping in her bassinet next to our bed, but we're transitioning her to her crib when we get back from our Thanksgiving vacation (so in a week). How did the transition go for you?

Mine is teething for sure, I can see the tooth on the gum line as clear as day.? Hopefully it comes out soon as he is miserable.? I tried Hyland's Teething Tablets because everybody raves about how great they are, and they worked like a charm!? Good luck to you!

Question for EBF moms
Published (2009-11-21 21:44:47)
Dd isn't taking as long to eat as she used to. I'm feeling engorged again but its probably because I just recently started drinking mothers milk tea so I can get some milk in the freezer. Also I have been pumping a lot more than I used to so more demands equals more milk. I really wouldn't sweat it if I were you. Sounds normal. As long as LO isn't acting hungry and they are still having wet diapers with the occasional poop....

I wil not do fertile treatment. Lol If we are meant to have them then I will. And yes, I think DS is to much work as it is I could only imagine life with twins and that is why I even think I am crazy for wanting them lol And Holly I understand how you feel about DH not wanting anymore. Neither does mine.. But I know in a few years he will change his mind. And if not I hope an accident happens lol. I would NEVER NEVER try to get pregnant with...

I'm not following - the baby's grandma smokes cigars, a pipe,?marijuana, crack?? There's a wide range of "not cigarettes".? Anything illegal, and you can bet my baby would NEVER be going anywhere alone with that person.? I have to watch out for the safety of my child, and if someone wants be a part of her life, they will live by my rules, and one of the biggest of those is no illegal drugs.? Plain and simple.

i made this today.  i have a bunch of bows and flower clips that i needed to put somewhere.  i painted the letter and attached ribbon to the back of it and embellished it with the butterflies.  i thought it was kinda cute and it only cost $3.50 to make  (i had the ribbon and brown paint)

Hmmm, my two are really close in age so I'm not sure how much has changed for me. I'm actually more nervous for people to hold this lo. Not because of germs, but she is a major grump. I'm afraid if she's left alone with someone and she has one of her episodes they may hurt her. I seem to take this one to the doctor more as well. I think she is just more vocal when she is unhappy, so it gets more...

My wedding band looks like the one above, w/ and engagement ring that has similar diamonds on the band, w/ a raised square w/ a bigger diamond centered on it, white gold. (I hate yellow gold, lol). It's kinda classical/victorian. I love it and it fits me well. I'll try and find a pic.

Should LO be fearful of people she doesn't see all the time?  She's only 11 weeks old.  I didn't think stranger anxiety kicked in until they were older? Lately my LO screams like crazy whenever my in laws are over.  Even though they see her every other day, they are claiming it's because I don't take her enough places and show her other people and she only sees me.  Can this be true?

I am not a fan of Santa. I realize he is a symbol of giving and generosity, but I think Christmas has become a very greedy holiday. I want to teach Caleb that that is not the TRUE meaning of Christmas. It is about the birth of our Savior. I want to start a different tradition and Santa will not be included.

I'm so sorry! My DH has deployed 3 times to Iraq and I hated every one of them! He is home now, but I don't know for how much longer. Don't pretend to be OK for everyone else. Tell them how you are feeling. It helps to talk. The only thing that got me through was staying busy with my kids.

We actually have both...I just bought her the Jumperoo for Christmasand I cannot wait for her to be able to use it!!!!  Both of my boys had exersaucers, but honestly, I always thought the jumperoos looked much cooler!!  I bought her the Tea for Me Exersaucer a while ago, and so far, she isn't into it at all.  I really love the bright colors, music, and lights that the jumperoo has!  And I think ...

Ethan and Elizabeth are 28 months apart (they're 10 and 8)and sometimes I wish they were closer in age now that they're older, but when they were both very little it was rough. Emilee will be 5 next week and she's not close to them at all, I wish she was closer in age to Lizzie and then I have Palin, who Lizzie is just in love with, so we'll see how that goes when Palin gets a lil older.
