Make sure everything is seated, the motherboard is grounded (ALL screws are in and secure). Pull your video card and memory out. If that doesn't fix it you can try a few things: 1) Try a different power supply. 2) Pull EVERYTHING out and completely start again. Also try starting with just 1 stick of memory, no hard disks etc. Just the bare metal.

It ended up being that my mobo wasn't compatible with my power supply so I gotta get a new PSU :/ Anyone know about returns on newegg?

I would try and get a new computer if I were you. With all the new programs, models, etc out there now it would probably be extremely helpful with your schoolwork. Preferrably a laptop so you can travel to and from campus. And as you said, the holidays are coming up and deals are happening

Well this has to due with your FTP connection. The one that dreamweaver uses is not a very good so you can go online and find a new FTP program that will work better and many programs are free. But it could be a number of things, try this first

Hey all,
So I ended up getting a diagnostics done on my computer to find out it wasn't even the hard drive at all, but some wire or something, so he replaced it and yeah ( didn;t cost me much)..So it is working and all, but here is my question:
-My computer is about 4.5 years old now, and should I be looking into a new one as this getting 'old'? I have like more year left of my BSc. and ...

Depending on how "old" it is, it may just be easier and possibly cheaper to go ahead and buy a new computer. If it's really old, you won't even be able to upgrade it to the level of current computers unless you completely overhaul the inside, at which point, you may as well get a brand new computer.

Try restoring your iPod when it is connected to iTunes.
This is a tool within iTunes, so you will need to be connected to the computer.
