AVG would only find viruses... The problem you are experiencing is called malware. You need a Spyware/Malware remover. I recommend running two: Ad-Aware Free http://download.cnet.com/Ad-Aware-Fr...-10045910.html Spybot Search & Destroy http://download.cnet.com/Spybot-Sear...10122137.html? Download and install both. Run the updates to get the latest definitions. Then run both programs (not at the same time) and look for the...

I got one that records straight to DVD because I know how great I am about printing out those digital pictures and didn't want to worry about that with my camcorder I LOVE mine. I got it when they first started making camcorders that recorded straight to DVD so I am sure they have progressed ALOT since then. Mine is small and handy and we've had it for 6yrs I believe with no hitches. My oldest son is getting the one in the Walmart BF...

You can buy any brand. The signal types will need to be compatible though.
N adaptors can take signals from B, G & N routers. G adaptors can only take signals from B, and G routers.

If you need a 300w supply and you don't have one, your PC won't have enough power to make everything work. You don't want that. It might start up then shut down when it can't supply enough power to all your PC components.
What's your budget for the video card (and power supply assuming you will need one)? Does the video card you are considering need a separate power connection? Many do....

So far as I've seen, wireless "N" routers are all backwards compatible with wireless "B" and "G" at least, some even do "A" adapters as well. Just keep in mind that you won't get "N" speeds out of "G" and "B" components. Though for 99% of people 99% of the time, "G" speeds are more than fast enough.

Do you have iTunes installed on your computer?
If so you can browse the extensive App Store using iTunes (you don't have to have an iPod to browse -- I think browsing is kind of the point). Virtually 99% of all the apps available, free or not, are listed in the App Store. You can also restrict your browsing to just free apps too.

Getting a flash probably isn't a priority to start, unless you're going to be in a lot if situations where the lighting sucks.
When I looked at SLR's, I pretty much had it down to Nikon or Canon. I wound up with the Canon XSi because I wanted it NOW and didn't want to wait for a D3000. I did not want the D40 or D60 since the XSi had more focus points.
I may have screwed myself over in ...

Core 2 Duo processors are a newer design and are faster than a pentium dual core processor of a similar clock speed (that number given in mhz or ghz on the computer specifications).

A laptop and notebook are both essentially the same thing. People use the terms interchangeably. Netbooks are smaller, less powerful, cheaper computers. They are supposed to be extremely easy to carry with you (many will slip into a small bag or purse) and will get on the internet, can be used for typing, etc... They usually lack the computing power for any serious use beyond that and often ...
