Hi DSM, Search for the key words "Don Trahan" and there were discussions on his method on earlier threads. You will get one lesson every week, then you will be hounded for months after. Ted

240 on the fairway is way better then 300 into the trees. Have you thought about trying a 3/4 swing without the 90 degree shoulder turn and a minimium of hinging in the wrists(Don Trahan swing)? I recently went to this swing and I get the same distance I did with a full swing but the ball goes straight down the middle now. You can check out the swing at www. peakperformancegolfswing .com...

Ozzie, I've been a natural one planer all my life. I still come over the top. The issue for me is intent - with the longer clubs (in a conventional set) if I don't focus on hitting the inside quarter of the ball, it's an OTT move and an ugly ball flight. With the shorter clubs , it's not so much an issue, because I'm coming down so steep already. But IMO, OTT is a desire to ...

I was doing this and probably still do sometimes. I found this was because of a lateral hip slide instead of turning the hips. Filming your swing would probably help a lot in diagnosing why you are standing up at impact.

Hi Jimbud, I remember you. You were on the 4MM thread I believe. You were a traveller. I must say, I believe some of the other members may be as confused as I was when I first read your post. Ergo, the lack of repiies. Many of the members would kill to get the divot you are describing. They would try anything to get it, including moving the ball back in the stance. Even with this, ...

The book " The Physics of Golf " by Theodore Jorgensen presented the author's take on this very subject. The book was rather technical, and even included a chapter on some of the differential equations relative to the discussion of the subject. Another book, " Anatomy of the Perfect Golf Swing " reads like a Gray's Anatomy edition. I don't believe that either book is of much benefit in helping a ...

Hi AGB, You have a swing plane problem, i.e. over the top. outside to in plane, which is cutting across the ball. Big bill had the same problem and he is able to hit draws now. See the currently running thread "best tip/drill", or something like that for the tee in the butt end of grip drill. Workon that to visualize/feel the action. Good luck, Ted
