Proforce V2 UST ???

Thanks Bulls! Still don't know what any of that means but I like the shafts so I guess that's all that matters. I understand about butt stiffness though...I get that a lot the older I get....

OnePutt, I don't see how that Uniflex can possibly work. I know that I require a regular flex because my stiff flexed irons feel like rebar....and I know people use stuff much stiffer than that. So how can a single stiffness be suitable for both me and the guy who needs X-stiff who feels just fine using rebar with a head on it?.... I just don't get it. Don; UST marks all of their shafts with this data. The biggest problem with your new irons, is the FAT shaft design. IF you ever want to re-shaft them for what ever reason, you're stuck with what Wilson can provide you. I LIKE the idea of the FAT shaft design, just don't like being stuck with only ONE shaft option. And good luck with the UNI flex shafts. I haven't heard any good reports on any uni-flex shafts. They are SUPPOSED...

Forged wedges are like hitting a ball with a stick of warm butter...ok well maybe not that soft, but I do like forged wedges. Nice purchase you made there.

First off, I wouldn't base my putter purchase on a golf forum thread, but to each their own.
I use a Scotty Cameron Studio Select Newport 2 Mid-Slant. Love the weight of the club (had extra weight added from Cameron) and love the feel and sound it gives me with a well struck putt. Just seems to set up well for my eye.

While shaft weight can effect stiffness, it's not a hard and fast rule. You can find S flex 50 gram shafts, and you can find L flex 75 gram shafts from the same shaft company. You really have to remember that shaft flex is shaft flex, not weight. You also should know that the CPM numbers only apply to the butt stiffness of a shaft, not the overall stiffness of the shaft. Fact is when a club ...

I read somewhere that Callaway is retiring the 'Big Bertha' series and that in 2010 the only thing that will have the 'Big Bertha' name on it will be the BB Diablo golf balls.

GS, does that Wilson driver have a UST Axivcore shaft? I noticed that in the adverstisements for that shaft it's labelled having a UST V2 ' wide body' shaft or some such of which the only UST shaft called that is the Axivcore series....wondering if they put an OEM shaft in there with the requirement they can't call it the axivcore or perhaps that was a prototype?
