Hi ste, Dan sounds like a fantasic teacher, one thats in it for the long haul and does not promise to change your swing after two weeks but offers good long term change for the better. I have been taught by a teacher that is teaching a couple of local touring proffessional's I do not doubt his teaching ability one bit, the problem is I think I need him watching over me every time I hit balls to keep me on track to swing the club how he...

Stu No vids at the moment. I try not to post questions on here regarding my swing as I have found to my cost in the past that input from too many sources only clouds the waters. Keeping in sync is a key item for me also. When I first met Dan my arms kept going long after my shoulders stopped turning. Slicefixer also highlights the importance of stopping the arms running off. The 'extra frames' as slice calls them need to be made up...

Hi Stu, I can't say that I've mastered Slicefixer's swing, I've been working on it for a year but I find it hard to fight the bad habits.... One of the thought that helped was to start the backswing straight back for a foot or so by rocking slightly the shoulders then push with the left shoulder to turn with a quiet right side that I try to keep connected to the chest at least till 1/2 or 3/4 backswing. I'm currently...

QUOTE (stugolf @ Nov 15 2009, 05:05 PM) Slicefixer may be the best thing for my golf ever!! I am in London UK and have recently discovered slicefixer through a playing partner. I have tried to do the 9 3 drill. It would be great if you could comment and advise me on how to work on slicefixers pattern. First 9 3 drill attempts Looks good stugolf, definitely a solid debut of the 9 to 3. If you like where this is...

QUOTE (stugolf @ Nov 23 2009, 07:00 PM) Does Dan have a website or other place I can view credentials? Manchester's only a couple of hours away on the train so you could do a day trip. If you book in advance it's quite cheap too.

What you read is correct, a traditional golf swing is led by left side (lead side) , and the right side is along for the ride. Most all swing errors materialize when the right side initiates rather than follows. However, none of this is anything a player needs to "think about". When using correct grip, posture, and alignment, especially the correct left hand grip, then the left (lead) side ...

If ball is starting straight it isn't a face problem it is a path problem. Face is square but path is across the ball. I'd work on an even wider stance and sliding the hips more and rotating them less. You want to finish with your hips facing the target (90º) with your belt buckle outside of your left foot. Right now hips are spinning out (around 130º) and backing up. Hips moving ...

question on flying wedge and tilts: do you think a feeling of maintaining the flying wedge (as Nick Clearwater identifies it as right wrist flex http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xq6B6xONedM) , encourages proper lateral motion and tilting on the downswing/through swing? in other words, would a player intuitively delay rotation in order to allow the clubface to remain square to arc longer, ...
