My best friend has the r7's, and I have the r7 tp's. There is definitely a considerable difference between the two iron sets. The topline of the tp's is much thinner, as is the sole, and the offset is considerably less. you ask a tough question. but IMO i would pick the 675xc's. i bought and sold a set of PC's recently. they are very nice clubs but didn't fit my eye. with the 675xc's you'll be able to build them exactly the way you want them.

Get a Fourteen like the 1 in my sig or the Yururi or Royal Collections are very nice too but the Fourteen is well worth the price

I still carry older Titleists 975J or 975D (they still seem current to me). I use them as "3 woods" on tees where I definitely need to control the ball and distance isn't that important. I don't carry fairway woods, although I'm eyeing a Ping i15 and that may give the old drivers the boot.
