As far as I know Donny--last I heard. There may be a stop to pick up in Toronto. It's been years since I have been but friends were there this past fall. They and we stayed on Provo---that's the northern Island.

The Ping Moon Lite might be ok too. http://forum.ottawagolf.com/showthread.php?t=50050 http://forum.ottawagolf.com/showthread.php?t=49983

I am in Atlanta on business in the first week in January and am thinking of taking my golf clubs. Who has golfed in Atlanta in early January? What should one expect for weather? Are most courses open? Any recommendations on courses? Thanks in advance.

Last year I flew to Phoenix from Syracuse with Continental. My bag was x-rayed and inspected in front of me. I don't know about any 2-sets rule. This year I flew from Ottawa with AC and they x-ray it while you stand waiting at the over-size booth.

Unless you are travelling with two half sets of clubs I doubt you would fall under the weight limit.

There is also a weight restriction of 50 pounds. 2 sets of clubs, balls, shoes and a travel bag would likely bust that limit. My travel bag, golf bag, clubs, 18 balls, and shoes comes in at around 43 pounds

Iwent to Bermuda end of October. One week cruise from New York. Booked thru Vacationstogo.com Saved about a thousand for 2 people, including room in New York. They even sent a bottle of wine to my cabin onboard the ship. Would reccommend to anyone.

I've played in Dallas, San Antonio and Austin. San A and Austin are great little cities. Austin was my favorite, the golf was cheap and very good quality. Weather will be good at that time, probably in the 60's. If and when you decide on the city, let me know and I can recommend specific courses in the city.

Try looking here http://www.golfworldmap.com/index.html Generally speaking I find information on Caribbean golf courses somewhat sketchy, hard to find on the web, and quite often inaccurate. My advice is to call around when you get to your destination. Check for twilight rates - if you can snag the first tee time you can often get 18 holes in. Also, depending on the course, sometimes ...
