Thornton has never really played much for Team Canada. Didn't play in 2002, was a member of the disastrous 2006 team, and also played 1 world cup and 1 worlds. Not a terrible record, but he hasn't exactly got an international pedigree. I think Getzltaf is a lock and should be on there. And I would put Phanuef on there instead of Seabrook eventhough him and Keith have pretty good chemistry.

The thing that really peeves me off about the Alfie hit is how Adams Turtled when he was called on his actions If you are going to go around hitting guys from the blind side you have to at least man up and face the music. Was watching the game last night and was getting frustrated with Spezza's lacklustre play and the constant giveaways. Had my Blackberry in hand and was going to post in the Sports section that someone should break Spezza's leg so he'd get off the ice. Looks like in a round-a-bout way, my wish came true......
