Better players tend to prefer the non-chrome finishes, as it reflects less in the sun. Other than that I'm not sure if one wearsusts quicker than the other....

It also might have to do with a softer feeling when hitting shots...not 100% sure though.

Quote: every time i buy a club i want to make sure its the real deal; because Fakes are never the same quality and therefore you may as well play 30 year old Northwesterns as any fake garbage with a name brand stamped on them. At least said Northwesterns don't pretend to be anything other than cheap and worth what you pay. $200 fakes are not worth the cost of shipping them, let alone the $200.

Adams Pro Gold Hybrids
Published (2009-11-09 22:39:00)
Got a 23* w/ Javelin shaft, brand new in wrapper from the GT sale for $55 after my trade in. These are awesome hybrids. I had an Idea Pro and thought it was pretty good, but these are way better. Not sure what the differences are between the two models, but other than one bad swing today, this club launches high and lands nicely. Pretty much point and shoot, except for one swing today.... Highly recommend these. Going to GT tomorrow night to...

Buy an "orange whip" driver length. It will give you the feel of making a full turn and a proper downswing. Anything will do though, I especially like a long mop handle. Just unscrew it and swing. Due to its weight and length you will not come over the top and really swing back and through really get hinged at the top, which to me is the key, a full turn and fully hinged at the top. From there the downswing is easy because everything...

Hello there dcomartin I'm not a pro just a player trying to improve in my game. You ask about a good set of clubs. My first set is Adam have a look at them. These are easy to hit very forgiving and they are very good in the price range. If you go to Golf Town ask about the Idea Tech a4OS Hybrid Irons. Accuracy and forgiving and really easy to hit. These clubs will make your game more fun. ...
