Only changed irons from the beginning of the season. Purchased a set of Bridgestone J36 PC (4-PW with PX5.0 shafts) to replace the Mizuno Pro Forged. The B'stones are a wonderful forged iron with great feel.

Having read all this, I am thinking of uograding my Mizuno MX-15's this winter and wonder should I get custom fitted first and then buy the clubs and get the manufacturer tomatch ( if I can do that???) orvise versa but the clubs and then get fitted? Thoughts?

really love those irons! If I didn't have the B'stones that i currently love, they would be at the top of my list to get. I really like the looks of them and they feel really solid.

I don't know if its true for Cleveland but the Cally badges are applied as added weight.. When the clubs are made they measure the head weights and to make them all the same they use different weighted badges to get the same swing weights.

so i picked up a set of cleveland 588 dsg gunmetal's.. i tried em out for quite a while at GT and they seemed to work well for me.. much different kinda feeling than im used to. but i got a three wedge set for a really good price. can anyone tell me what the difference between the chrome and gunmetal finishes are? purly cosmetic purposes?
