Im curious about how you all feel as the lemon squeeze as added safety feature? Im not planning on leaving a loaded gun where a child can get to it but is there really an added safety value.. ? Im a little confused as why none of these revolvers have a safety on them.

Ive been thinking latley of just getting the full blown FFL and doing trasnfers for people localy. Theres only a handfull in my area, most of em charge an arm and a leg. I got all the paperwork for the C&R in summer of 08. There was a BIG thread on it here around that time. Some were all for it, others totaly against it. It convinced me to put it off and then eventualy I just forgot about it all. AG_man is right, if they are gonna bust...

Even at 449 you got a smokin deal on a new gun. Out here in my AQ a used one would set you back 550-600 at a gunshow. I think you made a wise choice. Yes get a 22 for plinking - increase your skill with cheap and low recoil ammo Yes, those boot grips are a good set, only change them if they are way too small for your hands, and then with something similar but a little longer. Don't get too long as if you are going to carry the gun, the...

All modern handguns have multiple internal safeties. If you drop your gun it won't fire, etc. For double action revolvers such as you are considering, the average...

Quote: Nah, this is itsy bitsy. But stick this little 22 magnum up an attacker's nose, well ... I like those little revolvers in .22 WMRF but I think they really work better with a longer barrel. So I bought one of the Mini Masters. 4" barrel with dual cylinders. I can practice with .22 LR but carry with the Magnum cylinder. I've shot a few reactive targets with first the 22 LR cylinder and then the Magnum one and there was...

Secret: Women dealing with men can get by with "would ya take?" type negotiations better than men. A lady friend of mine tells me she makes ridiculously low offers on many things including real estate and says she very seldom gets any negative feedback from men as long as she does it "conversationally". But customarily, only used guns are negotiated, though sometimes this custom is breached at gun shows. Gun...

http://www.survivalblog.com/ Saving Money and Ammunition in Small Arms Training, by Jeff T. Several factors have resulted higher prices and in shortages of ammunition. These include higher commodity prices, recent political developments with many people buying to prepare for uncertain availability as well as demand from the military for the ongoing war on terrorists. This storm of demand has resulted in very real shortages of many common...

I'm thinking of getting my C&R license and I found this link to a PDF version of the application, thought I'd share:
http://www.calguns.net/CR/CRFFLForm7CR.pdf
The license costs $30 and is good for three years. This way you can buy C&R guns online and have them shipped to your house. There are lots of cool C&R guns out there, so it might be worth it to get the license. This is the ...

IIRC, the M1 is chambered for .30-06 or .308. Any gun store should have it, and most of the usual suspects will have it in bulk for low(er) cost.
Try Wideners, Ammo to Go, and so on.

As high as the price has gotten for them you are better off with an AK. It was one thing when then cost $100 (heck mine was 79). Spend a few more bucks and get an AK.

For Pistol Training:
Buy a decent quality air pistol that fires pellets......Daisy makes a very good one called a Model 747 for around $190. A step up would be a Russian made IZH-46M - I'm guessing about $300. Also, Beeman P3...probably about $200. These are all single stroke pneumatics....no CO2 to mess with.
These are the only 3 I would suggest for reasonable price and acceptable ...

The Ruger 10/22 is OK... but if you have the resources, instead find yourself a Ruger 77/22 or CZ 452... both have served me well and put a LOT of meat on the table. Particularly the 77/22... I just can't seem to miss with that one!

That "bar" is the tube that the buffer spring goes into. The point in making a pistol over a rifle is a pistol allows you to have a shorter barrel, whereas you would need a $200 tax stamp to have that short of a barrel on a rifle. Really, the only difference is a stock.
FWIW, the OP CANNOT put a normal stock on this as that would turn it into a SBR(short barrel riffle), and doing that ...

I took an AR armorer class a few years ago.
Wondering if it has something to do with the chamber and the angle of the ammo case.
.223 and 5.56 are not exactly the same. I can't recall what they said the difference was but they made sure we knew there was one.
