Merry Christmas everyone.
Recived my kit, like a kid with a new toy I started with gid paint, not the same as the paint I have been using while I was waiting. So I did a one foot square in my bathroom and BAM! to many stars! also not enough random paterns, looks like an alien runway. So I have read every thread on this blog and only one talks about how many stars per meter but that did not help ...

gid star painter. keep up the great work! I hope I can be a help and beacome a part of this fantastic world of stars.
p.s. the question? how do you scale shooting stars to the size of the room?

Thanks for the advice, where do you get
the new black lite, I just orderd my pigments and have 3 projects to start. I am new at this but have done airbrush in the past, #1 Wifes bath room, #2 portal above my bed, #3 nextdoor nabors kid room, The black lite idea will work for the kids room. Thanks.

What would be good would be is if we could print out your astronomically correct stencil at the correct size. Say if we could say to GIMP that the width and length of the room are 10 foot by 10 foot, and it prints out accordingly on a4 sheets. So each a4 sheet would be a part of the stencil and we would stick them on the ceiling in
totality and voila, there is an entire stencil on the ceiling ...

Use one of the finer micron powders found on Glow Inc.'s specialty powders page. Also, if you use the syringe method, you can get thicker stars than using a
paint brush.
