You definately want the shadow wall formula. Use a lower powered light if you want it to glow even less.
We now have 2'x3' glow wall boards designed for glow walls or shadow walls for $99. They will be on the website within a few days, but you can buy them now.

Hello
I'm working on some new
acrylic paintings and thought it'd be cool if I could paint/write some hidden messages or images over my finished paintings that would only be revealed when the lights go off. I've browsed the powders and pre-mixed paints - I'm not even going to pretend I know how to accomplish this.
Do any of you know a way where I could paint OVER my existing ...

I assume you have solvent-based paint. Pry off
the white ring with your fingers. After that, use a screw driver to pry open aluminum lid.

Firstly the GID pigment does not dissolve. The pigments come in various particle sizes so the larger the particle the heavier the medium needs to be to keep the particles in suspension.
So a water like medium is unlikely to work with any of the pigments. You'll need a clear liquid with some viscosity and add to that one of the specialty

fluorescent is definately the way to go. You can mix it with most acrylic clear mediums. It is best if they do not have UV filters. We sell a clear medium on our specialty paints page if you are interested.
Post pictures!!!!

If you are doing watch

Hi Patti, I'm also a newbie - but my first question is: Are the windows in your office UV protected? (
Abbey, Pete, Danny, Chris - is this a relevant question?)
I understand why the GITD paint didn't glow on the black background (because it won't!), I'm wondering if even though you used some white the surrounding black was just too overwhelming?
